pickAnother great book to show the importance of being true to yourself. Even though eraser wishes to be more like a pencil he learns the value of there differences. The humor makes it an enjoyable read for children and adults!

panThis is ironic. I thought I'd like this book. I start the year with a basket of new pencils. Not replaced until they get too short. Which means the kids run through the erasers in the 1st week of school and then that's it. It's ok, because everything they do in my room is practice, there's no getting finished (I don't allow them to say they are done). I thought this book would be relatable, but it was ALL OVER THE PLACE. and kumbaya?
I live in the high desert area of LA, California. We had a storm, flood and were without power whatsoever for almost 48 hrs during a heat wave. It was crazy!! Not fun at all. But, I managed to give a new look to my desk. I moved things around and organized a bit, since I had a LOT of time to waste. 🤷🏻♀️
