bookishkai @Jess7 it's a kind of obscure U.K. drama set in a women's prison. I think it last aired in 2007 or 2008. 7y

Jess7 Sounds interesting! @bookishkris as far as women's prison shows go, I do love #OrangeIsTheNewBlack (which was originally inspired by the non-fiction book of the same name). However, it has long since diverted from the original story line. 😜)

3.5/5 I didn't expect to enjoy #luckiestgirlalive but I actually did. Ani is not really a likable character, but it's obvious she has layers. The life she's created for herself is impressive and cunning, but I enjoyed experiencing the lies beneath it. I'll admit I was surprised by the direction the book went, but not unhappy. It wasn't the most thrilling or deep read, but it was clever and held my attention...My dog is jealous of books 😕 #TGIF

Despite the mixed reviews, I'm going to give this one a try. So far (the first 20 pages) I hate Ani (but I think I'm supposed to) and it's very NYC. Anyone read this? I think it has Gillian Flynn syndrome, either ya loved it or ya didn't. #luckiestgirlalive #sunday
