The 1st is about Elizabeth, Alice‘s little sister who is lured out to release the Jabberwock from his prison, one is about Hatcher‘s early days & the rest about Alice & Hatcher‘s search for a home. I loved this book but it‘s a little hard to categorise.It has similar underlying themes as her other books but the three MCs this time are all adults. It starts as the story of Travis,a man who has a talent for finding people & his search for Maggie then turns into the story of Theo,Calla & Bee who live in a community not unlike the movie The Village. #Booked2022 #AboutACultorReligion👇

This pretty little hardcover has been on my #MountTBRShelvesOfDoom since it was released in 2018🤭So glad I finally read it, it was a lot darker than I was expecting. A female line of witches on an island in the Salish Sea learn that the price of using dark magic is blood & pain. Though most were over 500pgs. I loved this the 1st time I read it & this time was no different.
