Bk1 of February is done. A reread of a book which is technically the 2nd Rizzoli & Isles novel but really is the first book with both Jane AND Maura involved. I loved it just as much this time around. Rizzoli is battered but unbent after her encounter with The Surgeon when a bee series of murders start. Bk11 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. The 3rd in the Alice series, it‘s an anthology of four short stories. The 1st is about Elizabeth, Alice‘s little sister who is lured out to release the Jabberwock from his prison, one is about Hatcher‘s early days & the rest about Alice & Hatcher‘s search for a home. Bk10 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. I‘m on a roll! I loved this book but it‘s a little hard to categorise.It has similar underlying themes as her other books but the three MCs this time are all adults. It starts as the story of Travis,a man who has a talent for finding people & his search for Maggie then turns into the story of Theo,Calla & Bee who live in a community not unlike the movie The Village. #Booked2022 #AboutACultorReligion👇

Bk9 of January2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done too! This pretty little hardcover has been on my #MountTBRShelvesOfDoom since it was released in 2018🤭So glad I finally read it, it was a lot darker than I was expecting. A female line of witches on an island in the Salish Sea learn that the price of using dark magic is blood & pain. This was hard to read at times, the topic, FGM & it‘s practice in England specifically, is a very emotional subject but the author handles it extremely well. Bk6 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. It‘s also the 2nd for #JoyousJanuary #readathon & my #Bookspin for January. Yay! Finally finished another book, my stats for Jan are awful so far. Though most were over 500pgs. I loved this the 1st time I read it & this time was no different.
