dabbe I do like this doctor and believe she is helping Esther to get well. Even though she didn't tell Esther the day before about the ECT, she had a good reason--not wanting to have Esther worry all night. Even Esther says that's what she would have done. In hugging Esther “like a mother,“ Dr. Nolan finally provides Esther with the female healer who can deliver the road map into adulthood that Esther has lacked. 46m
