First off, this book is hilarious. It‘s very satirical and pokes a lot of fun at own society. Parts of the story were reminiscent of the pandemic and how some political leaders and society handled it. I found it very clever. One of the funniest parts of the book was ogre speak, which was essentially really foul and rude language.

This was a truly amazing ending to an EPIC series. This book who had my heart racing from beginning to end. It was an INCREDIBLE read. It had one of those endings that just makes you go WOAH when you read the last sentence. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got me back into fantasy type books, I love this book and I‘m so sad that the 2nd one isn‘t out yet 😭. Def 5/5

A fun and romantic adventure!

There are threads of an idea but it was poorly executed. It seemed the author was trying to explore the concept of fate” but it came across as a cheap plot device. Combined with a lack of world-building, poor pacing, flat characters, and predictable plot with no real purpose, this was a disappointing read. I basically skimmed most of it just to finish it & get it off my shelf.

I really enjoyed this duology infused with eastern mythology and tea magic. Ning was a driven and strong heroine who also loved her family and aaa loyal to her friends. While there was a romance element, it wasn‘t central to the story. The focus was on Ning‘s journey of self discovery and empowerment.
