I'm really digging the song "Magnetic" from the upcoming solo debut album of Tunde Adebimpe, founding member of TV on the Radio. The single was released a few months ago, a new single just dropped yesterday, and the album comes out next month.

pickMr. Chance acts as a decoy target for the wealthy. While standing in for Lex Luthor, he is poisoned. With only 12 days to live, he must solve his own murder. This story is well written as an adult thriller, with astounding color schemes (so evocative of the ‘60‘s mod movement). The only downside is that this is part one of a two-part story. So far, I‘m hooked and can‘t wait to read the rest!

Batman has his first encounter with Hugo Strange, who is doing weird genetic experiments that end up going wrong, and he ends up with giant, brain-dead cannibals that he uses to kill the gangsters he‘s borrowed money from to get them off his back.
I think it's a good story but the finished book is very poor.
I was disappointed.
pick19/100 Green Arrow has always been one of my favorite superheroes, much more interesting than Marvel's Hawkeye. Green Arrow's origin story was pretty much the same, but updated and streamline. Queen was still the reckless, alcoholic playboy, he still ended up on the desert island with the drug runners, it's just more gritty and violent than earlier versions of his origin. 3.75/5

panFinished this Metal Earth AT-ST model while listening to the Batman Returns novelization. Pretty disappointing. The narrator was all over the place with his voices, Max Shreck being particularly rough. There was a lot more misogyny from the Penguin in this adaptation, which was weird. Stick with the movie.
