Finished up this quick audiobook yesterday. I chose it for the #setinthe1970s category of the #LitsyReadingChallenge. It kept my interest, but I didn't love it as much as a lot of others did. I'd say 3.5 of 5⭐️

pickSuch a great story. It took me a week to read because I could tell instantly it was one to savor. Blanche Devereaux felt the same. She snuggled me the whole time I read it like she knew I'd need that comfort while reading this heartbreaking story of a family trying to find their way after tragedy. pickThe narrator for the audio version, Christina Moore, did an excellent interpretation of the emotions described in this epistolary account. The twists & turns in a teenager's life can be stressful. Being alert to their needs & actions is critical. This is a great little #bookwithinabook about a girl that gets hired by MI5 to be a spy because she is such a bookworm and has to infiltrate the literary circles. How cool is that for a job! #ReadJanuary
