pickAs the title suggests, this tells why Sidney Chambers decides to become a clergyman. He needed a purpose coming back from the war. Everyone doubted his sincerity, especially when he acknowledged not knowing answers. I thought it was passionately written.
The voice actor is very soft spoken and reminds me very much of Norton, the actor from the show.

pickA decade after WWI and Maisie is still coming to terms with her grief as she investigates the "Retreat" where disfigured soldiers go missing. The emotions run deeper than other historical cozies which I like, but the conclusion leaves me unfulfilled.
