Of all the TJR books I've read so far, this is my least favourite. I usually feel so connected to the characters, but this time I didn't feel that connection to either character.

The topic was brilliant and there's so much that I've learned about space and starts.

The plot was engaging, and I was really curious about how it would all wrap up, so I kept turning the pages.

Started and currently reading all these. My goal this year is to read slower, which is happening, but weekday reading is less available with the return to my regularly-scheduled workday. 😣

As the title suggests, this tells why Sidney Chambers decides to become a clergyman. He needed a purpose coming back from the war. Everyone doubted his sincerity, especially when he acknowledged not knowing answers. I thought it was passionately written.

The voice actor is very soft spoken and reminds me very much of Norton, the actor from the show.

Yes, I know, it‘s a classic children‘s book, everyone adores it… and yes, the story‘s fun, the characterisation is great… but… I couldn‘t settle into the crossover between human and animal world. How big is the toad that he can pretend to be a human?!

This friendship-fueled whimsical adventure was everything I wished for, filled with breezy humor and clever banter.
This light-hearted, slice-of-life fantasy about new beginnings, second chances, and little mischief is always a joy to read.

Travis's narration makes these books come alive on a whole new level.

I have really mixed feelings about this one.
On the one hand I really enjoyed parts of the story;
On the other hand there were parts I felt were totally unnecessary and parts that were unnecessarily brutal and cruel.
