Michelle is such an inspiration!

Hopefull, informative and inspiring.

Not only did she offer a look at the Lady behind Michelle Obama, sharing her hopes, dreams and fears.
But she also encourages and inspire to do more, be more.

I admire a person who is honest about his flaws and wrongdoing. Boy George accepts who he is, and if you don't like it, he will let you know that it's on you. He admits to being aggressive and is still working on his passionate temper. Reading between the lines, I think there is still hurt that he is trying to let go. He was bullied for being different, and critics today still call him campy or irrelevant. I liked him. Now, I love him.

Butterfinger #transrightsreadathon. He has many friends who are mentioned. He mentions the old Trump who said on the Apprentice, "that is why restaurants have menus. Some people prefer steak, while others want spaghetti? Where is that DT, now?" I wonder, too. 5d
Texreader Great choice for LitsyAtoZ! But dang I‘ve always loved Boy George way back in my heydays of the 1980s. He has an absolutely gorgeous voice. And I always appreciated his individuality and not being afraid (or maybe he was) of showing it. Thanks for sharing your excellent review 5d

Fast paced, action packed, dark and tense; but the ending was a real disappointment.
And still so many unanswered questions...
I guess I need to read the other 2 books to get those answers.

Way too philosophical for me. I enjoyed the plot...a planet's inhabitants are working quickly to prevent a catastrophic end to all species on their planet of Lusitania. When they started talking about physics and what created what, my mind wandered. I'm still glad I read it. For 30+ years, I wondered what became of Ender. #LitsyAtoZ @Texreader

Ben rents a room from Winnie, who is elderly and a recent widow. Ben suspects that Winnie didn't really want him there, that she only agreed because her family thinks she needs someone there to watch out for her & help around the house. So Ben plans to stay out of her way, but then Covid lockdowns start. He and Winnie are forced to spend most of their time together, and a friendship ensues as they start to see life from each other's perspective.

Another #Afrikaans read for me...
I struggled a bit with the writing style and pacing of this one. At times nothing seems to happen, and the everything happens all at once.
I would however be interested in reading more of Venter's work, as it was so different form the usual Mystery/Romance I'm used to.
