pickThis novel really surprised me. I don‘t typically like historical fiction, but this was truly rooted in reality and human experience. A bold housewife fleeing an unhappy domestic situation crosses paths with a mobster during the JFK assassination. I loved this crime story, love story, and just overall story of characters. I didn‘t think this would be my cup of tea, but wow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
