This book was an assignment in my Master‘s program, and I‘m grateful for it. May everyone who reads it have the opportunity to discuss and mull it over with trusted peers. This book has been in my heart and brain, now is the time to heal.

I really, really enjoyed and recommend this book. It‘s not just about substance addiction but how we can all be addicted to something- success, control, affection. I think anyone can get something from this book 🙏

I‘m excited to participate this month and read from one of my favorite authors @nina_lacour
This is the physical copy I own. The rest I have it as audiobooks and ebooks/kindles.
Who else is reading Nina?! 😃🙌📚

The moment I picked this book up I couldn‘t put it down. Reading how Caitlyn coped with her best friend Ingrid death by suicide hit close to home. This book really helped me appreciate life more and the people I care about. It also helped me realize my passion photography. The way they described developing the photos and taking them was perfect. I don‘t know if I would have realized that‘s what I want to do with my life if I hadn‘t read this book.
Nominated for the 2024 #WCCPBA I read this to all my classes and gave them an idea map for creating a definition of safety in their words because you can't share your feelings unless you feel safe. Their definition will be used for a character trait bulletin board. #underthedustcover
This month‘s spiritual direction read. I‘m way more into it than I thought I would be. We all can be addicted to something- control, success, relationships- and the author makes a great case for this.
If you‘re struggling with deep emotions which might come from your inner child then I would suggest you this book.
It is based on buddhism and at the end of the book you can find some practices to heal your inner child.
I will definetly use some for myself 💛
Are you ready to embrace the pain?
Are you ready to finally give that inner child attention?
