pickJust finished this book and I‘m glad I finally got around to reading it! I enjoy mythology in general and I also have a weakness for retellings. This book was pretty much made for me! I enjoyed the look into Circe‘s mind and seeing the world of gods and mortals alike through her eyes. I think my one gripe with this book was that it started out a bit meh for me. Still a great read. Finally whittling down my #BotMTBR pile and #LitsyAtoZ list, too!

I was going to skip this month given that my #botmTBR stack is getting a little high, but I‘m absolute sucker for #dystopian fiction..... so instead I forced myself to only pick one book for my January box, no add-ons. #botm 📖📦
What did y‘all choose for January?
I'm certainly curious to see how this ends (only about 60 pages to go), but there's nothing really revelatory about this novel. Likable enough story, but also fairly predictable. (Says the reader pondering the ending. 🤔)
