My idea of the perfect afternoon.
I thought that this book was brilliant and very unsettling. I finished in one evening, and then reread it from the beginning. There is a lot of blurring between reality and illusion, time past and present. Lots of dread and atmosphere.
This is a beautifully written retelling of the story of Clytemnestra and her children. This is a book to be savored.
