#BookReport
Finished two lighter books this week completely mood reads as I didn‘t read anything I had planned for the week. I did enjoy both though.

#WeeklyForecast
My goal is to get at least 100 pages further into OaFK and start the tagged on my commute.

Still Reading:
📚 Murder is a Must
🎧 Hana Khan Carries On- Uzma Jalaluddin is my new favorite!
📚 The Twelve Clues of Christmas

Didn't Read This Week:
🎧 Tom Lake

Bailing:
📚 Foul Play at Seal Bay- there is absolutely nothing wrong with this book, I just kept setting it aside for other books. I've renewed it from the library twice and I'm only 32% done with it. 😆

I had an amazing reading week

I finished my listen of How to Say Babylon, and my reading of both The Battle for Spain and Daddy‘s Gone A-Hunting

I read Xiania and Dr. No

Sadly I had one DNF, Yellowface which just wasn‘t for me

I‘ve just started The Switch

How to say you had a couple of days off work…
King new short stories 👍🏻
Clear for #camplitsy24
Trust in Me- entertaining thriller that I‘ve mostly forgotten!
Live Wire- continuing the Myron series
Guilty Mothers- new Kim - current read.

Oryx I haven't quite finished the SK, just finished the twins one, but what stories stood out for you? 15h
TrishB @Oryx I loved the 2 long ones (Danny Coughlin and Rattlesnakes) as I think you get the full impact of King! But saying that I also loved The Fifth Step as it gave me an evil little chuckle. I did have Taylor Swift‘s Florida in my head the whole time reading the Florida set ones. Listen to it and you will too 😁 12h
julesG @TrishB Now I have that song stuck in my head. 11h
TrishB @julesG me too! Again. 11h
Oryx I liked Rattlesnakes too. I really liked Duma Key, so enjoyed being back in that area. I also liked Red Screen. 9h

#BookReport 23/24

My favorite this week was the tagged one. Kim Hooper is a great author (thanks for introducing me @Megabooks !) and I already found another one by her, about Japan!
I also made a start with the detective Kim Scott series, which is promising.
The Spinoza problem is a fascinating read about philosophy and anti semitism. Only the Danticat didn‘t meet my expectations, otherwise a great week.

TrishB A good week 👍🏻 11h

I have to wait two weeks for my hold on Inheritance to come back to me. 😂😂😂 So glad I had other holds that came in!

My #bookreport.
📗 Winter Rose by Patricia A McKillip. A Tam Lin retelling. Agree with reviews that say language is beautiful and story is confusing.
🎧 Happily by Sabrina Orah Mark - a series of personal essays using fairy tales to explore motherhood, writing, race, grief, etc. Some are brilliant.

#Weeklyforecast - a break from fairy tales. 😉
📗 some Alice Munro ❤️
🎧 Finally getting to Cold Comfort Farm

📚Currently reading:

📕A Feast for Crows
📕The Goblin Emperor
📙The Drowned World

Progress:

Finished a novel and novella this week. I have 30% left on The Drowned World but my brain is fried for today so I will have to finish it on Monday, on top of other things. I feel pretty good about the upcoming week and hopefully jump back into TGE (I keep stalling with it and it's frustrating)

Managed to finish two books this week. One was my commute audiobook and the other was an impulse read.

#WeeklyForecast
I'm still struggling with my physical book and the book club book for work so I'm going to have to use the holiday weekend to push through on those. I also need to find another commute audiobook to commit to.

My #BookReport and #WeeklyForecast are just DOA this week. I need to catch up on some things and get back to reading. I just can't read multiple books at once like I used to 😒
