Lola Phew! If you click on the link in the Open Culture piece to the '14 NYT By The Book Piece they pulled the titles from, Steinbeck IS there. I remember reading the NYT piece with much excitement when it came out. Bruce on Steinbeck: "I read “The Grapes of Wrath” very late, long after I‘d written the song “Ghost of Tom Joad.” However, it ended up being everything I‘d hoped it to be. I haven‘t read “East of Eden” yet, and I‘d like to." 8y

On September 27, Springsteen will finally release his autobiography and I can't wait. I may or may not have been to around 40 shows in multiple states over the past 32 years 😀 Bruce has been my one constant in life since I was 13. #augustphotochallenge
