Ship Wrecked | Olivia Dade

From the bestselling author of Spoiler Alert, comes Ship Wrecked, the final romcom in Olivia Dade's fandom trilogy. Sparks fly when two co-stars finally yield to temptation after filming on the same remote island for years . . . Maria's one-night-stand - the thick-thighed, sexy Viking of a man she left without a word or a note - just reappeared. Apparently, Peter's her surly Gods of the Gates co-star, and they're about to spend the next six years filming on a desolate Irish island together. She still wants him . . . but he now wants nothing to do with her. Peter knows this role could finally transform him from a forgettable character actor into a leading man. He also knows a failed relationship with Maria could poison the set, and he won't sabotage his career for a woman who's already walked away from him once. Given time, maybe they can be cooperative colleagues or friends - possibly even best friends - but not lovers again. No matter how much he aches for her. For years, they don't touch off-camera. But on their last night of filming, their mutual restraint finally shatters, and all their pent-up desire explodes into renewed passion. Too bad they still don't have a future together, since Peter's going back to Hollywood, while Maria's returning to her native Sweden. She thinks she needs more than he can give her, but he's determined to change her mind, and he's spent the last six years waiting. Watching. Wanting. His shipwrecked Swede doesn't stand a chance. Praise for Olivia Dade 'An absolutely witty, swoon worthy behind the scenes romp! Delightful from beginning to end!' Julie Murphy 'This slow burn romance had me falling in love every step of the way' Meryl Wilsner 'All the Feels leaves you swooning and eager for more!' Denise Williams 'Joyful, clever and full of heart . . . all the things I love about romance' Rachel Lynn Solomon 'Whip-smart dialogue, scorching chemistry, and side-splitting humour . . . This author is an absolute gem!' Mia Sosa 'Hilarious and poignant at the same time' Cat Sebastian 'Full of humour, heart and heat' Kate Clayborn

I switched to the book & beer thing tonight, and lemme tell you, this Mojo Gose from Phillips Brewing & Malting Co is the real deal. Solid gose finish with delicious mango-orange character throughout. My tastebuds are happy.

I‘m still enjoying the book, too, though I‘m with those who‘ve found the pacing odd. We‘ll see how it unfolds in the back half.

dabbe LOVE your glass! 🤩🤩🤩 2y
xicanti @dabbe as soon as I learned you could get beer glasses shaped like boots, I knew I had to have one! It‘s a little bit too big for the standard beer can, but I use it anyways. 2y

Did the whole tea & book thing earlier. I wasn‘t sure about SHIP WRECKED at first, mainly because Peter is SUCH an asshole to Maria after their audition, but it‘s grown on me over the first 125 pages. Even if I don‘t love it in the end, I feel like I‘m on track to like it a lot.

Bklover Makes me want to do a “tea and a book” thing😊🫖📖 2y

Just finished this one. It was cute, although there were times I got frustrated with both main characters for their poor decisions. Overall, I enjoyed it and I always like seeing the characters from the previous books as supporting characters in the current read.

The cover on the left is the stained cover. On the right is the preorder gift with purchase cover that nods to classic romance novels. Which do you prefer?

Peter & Maria are one night stands turned co-stars filming on a small island for 6 years. VERY slow burn as they keep things professional until the show is over, timeline is weird bc of this, & not that steamy, if we‘re being honest. least favorite of the series so far, loved the first 2, this one was okay, but liked that both MC‘s are fat in this one, &it‘s mentioned less than in previous books. pacing was weird to me but still cute

I really wanted to like this book. I haven't read the first two books in the series and I don't think that I would after this one. I was excited to read it at first because of the plus size characters. Unfortunately, the story was not executed well.

The story has this weird time jump and the two main characters were kind of flat...actually Maria annoyed me and Peter was, meh.

I give it 2 ⭐️ and that's being generous.

kera_11 you should give the other books in the series a shot, this was my least favorite of the bunch! the timeline spanning over 6 years was a bit tough to get into I agree 2y

5/5

Peter and Maria are co-stars with their own isolated story line on the hit show Gods of the Gate with a slow-burn romance on and off screen. I loved the way the relationship between Peter and Maria developed over time. I continue to love this series and all the characters in it.

This is probably the last book I‘ll read in 2022 and I am definitely ending it on a high note! This was classic Olivia Dade; hilarious, touching, and so very steamy! As always, she lets the world know that women of all body shapes and sizes are normal and deserve the world too. I adored everything about this and now wonder who in the cast might be left.

I‘m giving this a borderline pick. The third in a series that I feel is not quite for me, as I feel I have aged out of some of the jokes. However, I did enjoy the two character‘s banter. In fact the chapters that were texts and interviews were the best parts, which made me lean towards a pick. I did not love the third act conflict, it was pretty obvious, but it at least resolved quickly. 3.5⭐️

Least favorite of the three so far. Too long and too open door for me.

#Romance

Low pick.

Third book in the Spoiler Alert series.

Liked that both MCs had down-to-earth flaws, but somehow the story felt too long.

I loved Peter and Maria so much. After having a one night stand that ends with one of them ghosting the other, they wind up cast as two characters stranded on an island together for years as they yearn for each other. Life quickly resembles art. Lots of tenderness and desire but what I appreciated most was how often I laughed out loud at their banter at every press conference. Sad to see this series end but cannot wait for what Dade writes next.

A great finale for the Spoiler Alert series, Maria and Peter‘s love story was the funny, smart, and the slowest of the #slowburn romances. I was so happy to receive an #arc of this book which will release in November. The thinly veiled references to the Game of Thrones series (and terrible ending), homage to fanfic, and body positive undercurrents make this book shine. I‘ve fallen in love with the entire cast of characters and you will too!
