Absolutely loved Blood & Steel so much I bought the rest of the series. Tense, action filled with phenomenal in depth characters. Sapphire & Steel was decent but conflicts were resolved too quickly for all the build up with zero consequences.
pickThis is my second book from Mariana Zapata. She is the master at slow burn romances. You have Sal who lives and breathes soccer and plays for the woman‘s league. Then she meets her lifelong idol, German national men‘s soccer hero Reiner Kulti, who accepts an offer to coach Sal‘s team… dislike turning to friendship … loved this!!!

Absolutely loved this. The MC's & side characters all have major personalities. Torj stole my heart. He is here to speak truths & cause mischief. Look forward to definitely continuing this series. I do have an arc to read, but I desperately can‘t keep my eyes off these other two 😍😍

panI had been really hyped for this book, so I feel really let down. Especially considering this was likened to throne of glass. For reading of a woman who argues to be allowed to be a warrior, in a world where woman are forbidden from doing so - or risk bringing the end of the world. Everything felt glossed over, to the point I couldn‘t care about when they got together or other characters got hurt.
pickEntertaining slow burn romance featuring a strong and (very) silent man and the woman who got him to talk (a bit). My only complaint is that the 🌶, when it finally happened, was disappointing. But maybe that‘s just me. Thanks to @TheSpineView for putting this one on my radar.
