This was a fun read. It took some twist and turns I wasn‘t expecting, and was a different type of romance book with all of the adventure. 4 ⭐️

The first Christina Lauren that didn't work for me.
I liked the characters, but the treasure hunt setting felt off.

You‘ll always find something wilder at the Eurovision Song Contest!
I have a whole playlist of songs that I‘ve loved over the years. My fave from this year was Gustaph‘s Because Of You 💕- see image 😊

Listed to this one over audio. Christina Lauren books for me are enjoyable to listen to when I just need something light & fun to listen to. I liked the treasure hunting part of the story with some different twists, which helped to balance out the romance. The authors said that they wrote this during the pandemic & wanted to write a fun adventure story. #bookspin book
I love a story about an adventure. Reminded me of a giant scavenger hunt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3.5 Stars, I really liked the adventure and intelligence of the story. It wasn't just a RomCom with some spice but had a plot as well!
Another amazing CLo book! I love that this one has a more adventurous theme to it. It‘s different and yet still gives you the amazing laugh out loud and swoon worthy moments you expect and love.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Of course book 1 of the year had to be a Christina Lauren book 💙 I‘ve had this on my shelf since it‘s release date and finally have time to read it!
I read this for a reading challenge. I love their books but I wasn't in a rush to pick this up based on the synopsis. 4 stars for pulling me right into this story that I didn't think I was interested in and making me root for the characters and feel like I was on the edge of a cliff wanting to find out what happened next.
I loved this! It was exactly what I needed right now. With adventure, sexy romance, and unexpected twists and turns, it's honestly too much fun. 🤠 #romance #adventure #funread
2 of my 3 vacation reads… missing is “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”
I enjoyed them all, but Something Wilder was my favorite. Kingdom of the Feared was my least favorite. I love a good romance book, but I get bored when plot slows with too much sex or sex obsessed thoughts by the characters. This one had that in droves. I‘m not quite sure how it even is classified as a young adult book.
This was a fun, easy read while I was on vacation. I thought I had the entire book figured out in the first 50 pages but there were several surprises I didn‘t see coming that made me keep turning the pages.
3.5 - this was a fun romantic adventure story. There was a hidden treasure hunt, horseback riding, betrayal and love.
It is easier to do something when you see others, no?

So I‘ve heard people say that this book isn‘t very romance-y and that the lack of a third act break up is a weakness. I disagree, because it‘s romantic adventure. I‘ve read loads of this sub genre recently and they are about a couple adventuring together and falling for each other along the way. It‘s about them but also about the adventure, so miscommunications and breakups don‘t fit as well. It‘s a fun and easy read, full of action and peril.
I enjoyed this, but did not realize that it was romantic suspense. I‘ve enjoyed all of Christna Laurens books so I never read the synopsis. 🤷🏻♀️
