It took a bit to get into, but then was a good book. Not the best book ever, but interesting enough that I‘ll try book 2.

Started this book less than 12 hours ago. I couldn‘t help myself. It was just so good. I cannot wait to get started on the next book… possibly after some sleep.

Whoever said this was just a rip off of Beauty and the Beast was clearly reading a different book than I just read. It certainly has some similarities in the beginning, but then those quickly fade. I‘m sorry I let that assessment stop me from reading this sooner.

So this is happening. The same person who suggested Fourth Wing has since suggested this series. I have put it off and put it off for ages… now that I‘m not working, I guess it‘s time to give it a go. Here goes nothing.

Just starting this. Summer reading here I come!

I liked this more than I thought I would. I keep telling myself I don‘t like fantasy… but I think I do!

I had zero interest in reading this series, despite all the hype. Now, based solely on this mid rating review I feel like I simply MUST read it. 🤣🤣🤣

I read this book a while ago and I loved it ❤️❤️❤️ I was very intimidated to read acotar because it was soooo hyped up on booktok but I loved it, the world building could have been better but Sarah. J. Maas really knows how to create characters with depth. Hated Feyre sisters with like my whole heart. I totally recommend, and I also think if you new to fantasy you should read this!

Finally picked this off my tbr shelf and started it today. About 100 pages in already :)

I‘m going to be honest, this is one of the very few books I decided to DNF.

I know it has a a big following. I love fantasy. I heard good things about it, so I gave it a shot. It started off strong. I wasn‘t the biggest fan of Feyre from the start, but I figured maybe as it went on I‘d like her more. The pacing started off strong. I liked how everything was introduced, but once she got to the fae world, the pacing slowed down too much for me.

This was really slow to start for me, and there are a lot of random small plot holes for what basically amounts to a gorier version of Beauty and the Beast, but I don't regret reading it. And I will continue with the series. I need to know where we're headed.

Really enjoyed this, hoping it doesn‘t turn into a love triangle.

I‘m not really into romance per se, but I could not put this book down. Finally finished at 2am. The last few chapters had me in a chokehold.

AMAZING. First fantasy romance I‘ve read in a long time and I couldn‘t put it down.

I bailed on two books in a row. My daughter recommended A Court of Thorns and I am half way through but can not get into it. The same as All The Missing Girls. I must be in a reading slump. Any recommendations for me? I like books that go back and forth between past and present.
