IKEA, the Book: Designers, Producers and Other Stuff | 
Did I buy a giant plant and a tiny plant at IKEA? Yes.
Did I have to go through twice because I missed the office chairs first time (and also couldn‘t fit it in the trolley with the plants? Yes.
Did I go too fast around a corner and overturn giant plant in the car? Yes.
Did Him Indoors ask what the **** I was doing with a giant plant? Yes.
Am I happy? Absolutely.

mandarchy But did they have furniture? I drove all the way to Ikea (an hour) and they were literally out of everything. I needed bookshelves and a TV stand. There was not even a chair. It was so creepy. 3y

Verity @mandarchy the prices are super reasonable - or at least they are here in the UK. The giant one (currently named Fern-ando, but that may change) was (d5 and he is about 4 foot tall. The little one (Palm-era) was a couple of quid. 3y
Verity @mandarchy I was basically going to take back some table legs I bought nearly a year ago to get the return in under the wire. But they did have the office chair I wanted in stock - although a lot of the other ones weren‘t. And yes, I spent all the refund and more! 3y
mandarchy @Verity I love Ikea because of the prices. I haven't bought plants there, but I have lots of planters that were reasonable and they last a long time. I need new furniture - I moved to a new house three years ago and I don't have any shelving upstairs and my TV stand is from the 20th century. 3y
