I am so excited!!!! I received word today that I am one 500 teachers to receive #MetaphorDice from Taylor Mali‘s Kickstarter campaign! This will be so much fun to use with my classes next year! #TeachersofLitsy

#AdelesMayMashUp Day 23: I don‘t think this is a game I will grow #Tired of. Full disclosure: I got these photos from an educator friend in the US who was sent copies of this game prior to its official release. Unfortunately, shipping to SG is unreasonable since shipping costs way more than the actual game. Boohoo.

Not exactly book related, other than being the reason I didn‘t get any reading done this evening! Tonight was the County Council budget meeting, otherwise known as the annual “beg-a-thon”. Hopefully our voices were heard!

Began as an answer to wealthy lawyer who was jerking him around at a dinner party.

Has some good moments, good stories, but ones that fall flat too – like the one about the piano across the street being while he was trying to teach.

Sometimes, though, not everything should be a book.

Another weekend, another fencing tournament. Waiting with my book so my son can get his weapons checked.

I'm on break right now, but everyone could use a career-affirming book, right? So let's see what this one can do!
