Things that have happened today:

First, I woke up in no kind of mood for reading at all, so no readathon for me.

Then, I acquired some tasty Chinese food and came home to a giant box from Drunk Austen... it‘s my fashionably late prize package from #25DaysOfPrideAndPrejudice in December and Omg how awesome is all of this?? 😍

Now, I do believe I will have some tea and watch something Austen-adjacent. 🙌🏻

So last night I was reading the Jane Austen Handbook and drinking spiked eggnog—which somehow resulted in the purchase of an Apple Watch. 😬

This chunky 'How To' guide to Jane's time and world has examples from her books but is mainly descriptions and definitions. Not dry though! Good info with illustrations in a fun tone - mildly cheeky - since it is from Quirk Books. Fun to dip in - and super useful if you ever want to time travel 😉
