Ahhhhhh I loved this series!!! Took me a while to be willing to read book 3 since I didn‘t want it to be over. This was a fantastic read and tied up the loose ends nicely. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was searching for a spooky season read that I knew I would enjoy and this fit the bill perfectly. V is a gifted storyteller and this MG novel is just the right amount of creepy. The audiobook narrator is great, too. Her rendition of the “bad guy” made me shudder and gave me goosebumps. Lots of fun and a quick read. Highly recommend the series. It might be okay as a standalone, but definitely works better in order.
#middlegrademarch wrap up
Naturally I didn‘t stick to my reading plan nor did I read as much as I wanted to but I had another great middle grade March! Al Capone was my favorite and The Black Stallion was a surprisingly good read. Thanks for hosting @megnews and @sblbooks

First book for #middlegrademarch complete. Cassidy Blake is a ghost hunter and can navigate both worlds of the living and the dead. This time her latest adventure takes her to New Orleans where she must fight for her life from an emissary of death. Spooky good fun and this book concludes the 3 book Cassidy Blake series.
The adventure of Cass , Jacob & Lara continues in this book. I love the strong bonds of friendship in this series. Best spooky series for young readers. 3.5 ⭐️

I have loved every minute of reading this series, especially when I get to read with a cuddly dog in a quiet room. #Atticus
In this book we visit New Orleans with Logan, Lara and of course Cass. This has been such a fun series, with elements of historic details that draw the reader into the story. And truly brings the Crescent city alive! #bookspin #traveltheunitedstates #louisiana @TheAromaofBooks
Aw, I want more adventures with Cass, Jacob and Lara.
This series was so much fun!
So, this was super cute. I didn't do all my #AudioChores, I still need to clean out my car (but its cold and snowing so... maybe tomorrow at work I will do a once over) and I didn't do the mudroom yet, but my hubby saw my list and cleaned it out pretty nicely (just need to organize things a bit now), and... still struggling with coming up for routines (maybe that will be tomorrow too)

I've been to NOLA 1x in my life and ... well it's back on my #BucketList to return. This is the #3rd in the series. I am using it my #AudioCleaning for this weekend. Its super short so, I will most likely finish before work... :)
This book was so easy to read. Atmosphere was great. Honestly I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I loved it that this book took place in New Orleans and I loved the history surrounding this book. Definitely a great addition to the series.
I plopped on the floor while trying to decide which audiobook to listen to next and Pippin fell asleep on me. I guess I'm stuck! At least I can use my phone speakers to start this book while I wait for him to wake up. 😅

So glad I got to listen to the excellent audiobook version of Cassie‘s continuing ghost hunting adventures, this time in New Orleans.🔸#octoberreads2021
Cassidy and friends are in New Orleans for this last one in the series (for now?). So atmospheric and I really loved the relationships developed here. These are MG books, definately, but they deal with death and can be quite scary at times!
Cassidy Blake goes to New Orleans to learn about southern historical ghost! She finally feels she might have some control over her ghost hunting abilities until she meets super scary ghost again and it all goes upside down. I love the friendship she has in these novels with Jacob who is a ghost himself, and Lara who traveled across the world just to help! Her parents, clueless are sweet too. These are just fun MG books I love reading!
I didn't like this nearly as much as the previous 2 books. It's still a cute ghost story though. Fun fact: based on the title only, I thought this would be set in Venice. But New Orleans was fun too.

One more down and I think my last for October's #aamveschwab. I enjoyed this one more than the first 2 of the series, and as a bonus I FINISHED A SERIES! I'll give it 3.75 stars but I don't think I'd read more Cassidy Blake if they come out.
No #bookspinbingo yet but I've still got a weekend!

I‘d be perfectly happy if Victoria Schwab kept sending her characters to haunted places for more adventures (think of the fun they‘d have in Gettysburg!), but if the series had to end this was a nice send off.
Goals met for #OutstandingOctober and anything else is just lagniappe. Bonus: three books read for #authoramonth
Another cozy morning spent reading while my husband and son are out hunting.
This is book 3 in the series and I think it‘s my favorite! Cassidy, Jacob and Lara team up in New Orleans after Cassidy starts being haunted by the Emissary of Death. The New Orleans setting is perfect for this supernatural ghost story and I love the Society of the Black Cat characters who help them.
This is also my October #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
We are in New Orleans AND on our way to Café du Monde. Well played Victoria well played!
I didn‘t enjoy the last installment of the Cassidy Blake series as much as the first two. It didn‘t have the mystery of a ghost‘s past as the central focus, which is what I loved about City of Ghosts and Tunnel of Bones. However, it was a very satisfying ending to a unique series.
I should have saved this for Halloween. Spooky, fun, & an atmospheric setting in New Orleans. I enjoyed this third instalment in the Cassidy Blake series. This time, the threats & dangers are greater than before but nothing too scary for middle grade audience. 👍
Third book in the Cassidy Blake series.
This time, Ghost hunting in New Orleans - to be honest, after book 1 was set in Edinburgh and book 2 in Paris, I thought book 3 would be set in Prague. Yes, I didn't bother to read the blurb.
#MiddleGrade
Cassidy‘s New Orleans adventure was just as much fun (and as haunted) as her previous two trips. She and Jacob attend a seance, check out some hotels and restaurants with tragic histories, and of course run into some trouble connected to the veil.
I got the Owl Crate for this one, just to see what it was like, and it came with these trading cards of the characters (❤️🐈⬛ Grimm!) and a mirror of course!
Fun spooky MG books. 👍
This middle grade series is the perfect amount of spooky with a brave and interesting main character. The pacing is spot on - they are entertaining reads for all ages. This third book in the series takes place in New Orleans. Having just visited for the first time in January, Schwab‘s descriptions took me right back to this fascinating city. Highly recommend!
It has been a while since I picked up a middle grades read, but I am glad that I invested in the Cassidy Blake books this week. I will definitely be reccommending these to some middle graders in my life. A kind of paranormal Nancy Drew.
The third and last book with Cassidy and her friends. And yes, it's a great and lovely ending. Schwab uses the same scheme here as she did in the other two books, and it works perfectly fine. She wrote a good ending with a catching story beforehead. Touching, funny, scary - everything we loved about the other books are to be found here as well.

5 🌟A great read! Fantastic setting. Reading about New Orleans was fun, and spooky! This book had some of the creepiest and most haunting moments in the entire series. I loved seeing Lara again, and getting more of Jacob and Cassidy‘s friendship. But the stakes were so high that I was so nervous for Jacob. I loved this book, and I‘m satisfied if this is the end of the series, but I would absolutely read more stories set in this world! #middlegrade
Virtual trip to NOLA and breakfast for supper? Yes please! 😍😋
A really sweet and spooky way to end the series. Sad to finish it, but a wonderful series that will stick with me for a while.
5/5 for the third in this series. I‘m loving this series and cannot wait for more. I love Cass, Laura and Jacob! There was lots of action in this one. I loved going to New Orleans. I definitely recommend this series.
I fall into the story and always forget Cassidy is so young, only twelve.
The books are always so haunting. Always have a good plot and the climax is always so fast paced and thrilling. I enjoyed this third installment.
In the next book I‘d like to get more history of “in-betweeners” or veil walkers and more information on Jacob and how he and Cassidy are connected along with where he may end up. Just what is beyond the bridge of souls?
@Cupcake12
Thank you for the tag @Deifio
1.Bridge of Souls takes me to New Orleans, Louisiana to haunted places!
2.I plan on purchasing Naomi Novik‘s The Last Graduate.
3.I get to buy books for my library!

Tarot isn‘t a crystal ball, it‘s a mirror. Tarot cards don‘t tell you what you don‘t already know. They make you think about what you do. Those cards just make you think about what you want, and what you‘re scared of. They make you face those things. But nothing can predict the future, because futures aren‘t predictable. They are full of mysteries, and chances, and the only person who decides what happens in them is you. 102

OwlCrate Jr knocked it out of the park with the Bridge of Souls special box! What‘s in it?
An exclusive first edition hardcover copy of Bridge of Souls with an exclusive cover, signed by Victoria Schwab with a letter from the author.
A Two of Swords throw blanket
A handmade lip balm named Big Easy Beignets
The Society of the Black Cat large enamel pin

The 3rd (and last?) book in this middle grade series did not disappoint. I highly recommend The City of Ghosts series for anyone looking for a light, fun, easy read.
I love how the author takes the reader to a different country every book! This one was set in New Orleans.
Schwab‘s Cassidy Blake books are my favorite books by her, well that and The Near Witch, so when I saw this Owl Crate junior box I had to get it and it‘s so cool! All of the contents fit with the story which follows Cassidy, her parents, and her best ghost friend Jacob to New Orleans where she tries to solve who the skeleton man is that is following her and why; all while her parents visit the most haunted places for their paranormal show. 👇
🎧 I LOVE this MG series.
Fun, quick, simple read. Just what I needed to get back into this other 19 hour adult fantasy. 😫
There are multiple Harry Potter mentions again.
This time Cass, Lara & Jacob are in NOLA & the emissary of death has his eyes set on Cassidy. It will take both of her Best friends to get her out of this mess.
Fun romp through ghost land. We meet Lucas & Phillipa (members of the Society of the Black Cat).
