The bed and breakfast owners on a mission to dominate the hospitality industryand he expects nothing less than perfection. So when a purple-haired tornado of a woman turns up out of the blue to interview for his open chef position, he tells her the brutal truth: not a chance in hell. Eve, he'd noticed, read using an app on her phone. Dirty books, if her laughably easy-to-read expressions were anything to go by. She always got shifty and furtive whenever anyone passed too close, as if they might catch a glimpse of the words she devoured so eagerly.

Eve is my favorite of the Brown sisters. I relate to her on such a personal level. She is fun and quirky and has given up on others expectations of her and decided to be herself anyway. I loved watching her fall in love.

The final book in The Brown Sisters Series was just as good as the first two. I enjoyed getting to know Chloe, Dani, and Eve. I love how each sister is so unique, yet they have an unshakable family bond. Romance is usually not my go-to genre, but if it was all like this, it would be.

Eve‘s parents give an her ultimatum of having the same job for a year or be cut off. She comes across a B & B that‘s looking for a cook where she meets Jacob. They dislike each other at first, but as they work together their feelings for each other develop.
This book was also a really cute read. A little better than the first one. I loved the diversity in characters and their chemistry with one another. And The writing was just adorable.

In the third instalment we meet Eve, the flightiest sister who crashes into a B&B owner which results in her staying to help him out. Jacob, is always in control, he expects perfection so is reluctant to let Eve into his life, but he needs help running the B&B.
Talia Hibbert creates such endearing lead characters. This was my favourite out of the three and included the most banter. She really explores their vulnerabilities and internal struggles.

MallenNC This one was my favorite too. 2y

I have enjoyed the fun and light romances in this series. Each relationship centers consent and features characters who are diverse in looks, body types, etc. Multiple characters have disabilities or are not neurotypical. Like these as palate cleansers - predictable in the you know a happy ending is in sight way - but that‘s what I‘m looking for in this kind of book.

SarahBookInterrupted I loved this series too. I hope they make them into movies. 2y

Another Brown sister installment that I adored just as much as the first two! I think Eve might be my favorite sister, I related to her journey and admired her determination despite not always having confidence in her own abilities. Jacob was delightfully grumpy and I loved watching Eve's sunny character break through his shell. Also, great autism representation for multiple spectrum levels.

I loved the dynamic between Jacob & Eve. At the beginning Jacob was annoyingly grumpy - I am so tired with grumpy characters. He being her boss & stranger it's hard to understand why someone wouldn't leave if treated like this.

This was really cozy & cute story after the beginning.

For me the twist at the end felt too unbelievable even though I liked how they acted after it. I loved the ending.

A quiet, cozy morning around here let me finish this gem. Adorably awkward love story of two stubborn-headed individuals. It was equal parts cute, sassy and steamy. Glad I stumbled upon this for some February romance..I‘ll definitely read her others.

I‘ve been putting off reading this, I love the Brown sisters and I didn‘t want the series to be over. But at the same time I knew it would be amazing so I had to finally pick it up and it was just as good as I expected. It was funny,so sweet and just made me feel good.Jacob made me realize that Talia Hibbert writes the most amazing cinnamon roll heroes. And it was so fun to see Eve coming to understand who she is and what she wants for herself.

I love this author! Her romance books have “real” people in them with believable back stories and issues, but their problems/trauma don‘t make them unlovable. They make them more. The intimacy is, at times, a little too steamy for me. Surprised me, even though I‘ve read another from this author. They make me blush and I would be so embarrassed if someone knew what I was reading at those moments. Regardless, I wholeheartedly enjoyed this book.

Jemgirl2014 @Clwojick Hi. Is each bingo board worth 20 points? 3y
See All 7 Comments
Clwojick @Jemgirl2014 each bingo line is worth 20 pts. If you clear the whole board you get an additional 100pt. Therefore, a standard 5x5 bingo board would be worth a total of 340pts if cleared. 3y
Jemgirl2014 @Clwojick lol Sorry. Last question. Can a bingo board carry over into the next week? Or if you fail to clear a line or the board, do you have to start over for the next week? Thanks again! 😊 3y

I‘m so glad I decided to give this series another shot. Get a Life, Chloe Brown really didn‘t work for me so I wasn‘t going to continue but I ended up thoroughly enjoying both Take a Hint, Dani Brown and Act Your Age, Eve Brown.

ravenlee I was surprised and pleased at how different they all were. I enjoyed them all. I was hesitant about Eve at first, because I didn‘t really like her in the other books, but it really worked. 3y

What a freaking delightful read! I went into this one knowing that I was going to love it, but I did not expect to love it this much. Their were multiple times when I found myself smiling and giggling at Jacob and Eve's banters. I'm so sad that this book marks the end of Brown sisters trilogy but I'm SO GLAD it ended on such a high note!

Super cute rom-com, the third in the Brown Sisters trilogy. Eve is the flaky youngest sister, constantly starting projects and never finishing. When her parents threaten to cut her off, she talks herself into the chef job at a nearby B&B, which is owned by a prickly and precise man. Classic enemies-to-lovers ensues. I enjoyed this one!

For a romance grump, I was surprisingly into this whole series. Maybe I am turning a new corner.

I am impressed that Talia Hibbert's books address people going through ordinary life challenges, such as being in the spectrum. It makes the romance and the whole story seem more viable to me. I loved Jacob and Eve.

I was excited to be introduced to a new Brown sister, but this was just meh. Eve was alright, but Chloe and Dani's personalities (as well as Gigi's) were not consistent with how they are portrayed in the first two books. The pace of the romance didn't feel so right- there needed to be more 'enemies' time apart from Eve being in the wrong and being rightfully kept at arms length.
