I really enjoyed this YA novel! Very strong characters, love/romance, but no gratuitous sex. I will be passing this on to my soon to be 17 year old niece. Oh and gorgeous cover art!!

This was a super cute quick read. I liked the characters and even though this was a modern YA with no crazy heroics and magic powers I thought it was sweeter for not having all that. I should read outside the fantasy/SciFi genre more often. Also apparently I really like these colors right now. I shades of aqua and teal all over my house.
I am loving this book. 💙
I probably won't read this but look at the cover! 😍
The embossed art on the hardbound cover is gorgeous! 😍
Sloane's adventure isn't the typical adventure like a road trip or a self discovery trip through Europe. Her adventure is making friends and discovering herself but still staying true to who she is.
This was a quick read. I adored all the characters. I loved Sloane's relationship with her dad and little sister. I wish we got more of her mom though. I felt some kismet with Sloane and her confusion about making friends.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
a lil sunday shelfie for you all ✨
i recently got new shelves and i absolutely love them because i finally don't have stacks of books lying around now 😂
how do you arrange your shelves? i love rainbow shelves 👌🏼
This was a bittersweet book. Lovely and beautiful but laced with sadness.
"Maybe there are people who love someone so much that when they lose them, they never want to be with anyone else again. But maybe there are people who love someone so much that it makes them want to find that kind of love again."
Hello people?
This adventure ends is so cute I really enjoyed it!
I would definitely recommend it??
Litsy's rating system and I are having issues. While this book wasn't necessary a "pick" for me, I would grade it higher than a "so-so". Unfortunately there is no in between, so I'm forced to explain my rating with words. Speaking of words, while the story itself was pretty good, I really liked Sloane's sarcastic delivery even more than the story itself. It also had a lot of good quotes (see above).
I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for this book's cover. Now let's see if what's on the inside holds up just as well! Anyone check this one out yet? #thisadventureends #emmamills #mayreads
Loved this book. Emma does an amazing job of making the characters seem real and relatable. I know Sloane and I share a lot of personality traits! Super cute and heartwarming, I would (and have!) recommend this book to anyone looking for something to read!
In this bummer of a week, my #libraryhaul was a bright spot. Here is just some of it -- the titles I'm most excited about.
This was a cute, bit predictable read. What I enjoyed most about the book was the friendships that developed. It was great to see these deep friendships evolve. Ove all, a 4 ⭐️ read.
