P.S. I Still Love You (Media Tie-In)
P.S. I Still Love You (Media Tie-In) | Jenny Han
Look out for the Netflix original movie starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo in 2020! In this highly anticipated sequel to the "lovely, lighthearted" (School Library Journal) New York Times bestselling To All The Boys I've Loved Before, Lara Jean still has letters to write and even more to lose when it comes to love. Lara Jean didn't expect to really fall for Peter. She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren't. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever. When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean's feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once? In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestseller To All the Boys I've Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that's part of what makes it so amazing.

Second in the series, this is a fast, fun, light read. Lara Jean and Peter navigate teen love, while Lara Jean gets reacquainted with a middle school crush and Peter is still tied to his ex. Yes, Lara Jean is immature and the relationship has its angst, but they are 16/17 years old. Reading this takes me back to the fun, hope and insecurity, but excitement, of teen love. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 /5 ❤️📚

Chilly, but I couldn‘t resist the sun. ❤️📚☀️ Covid isolation ends this morning for my youngest. He was so happy to be able to come out of his room! He‘s masked for the next 5 days. So far, the rest of us have tested negative. 🙂

Happy Easter! ✝️

Enjoying the warmth before rain moves in later. Enjoying this book so far, but not as much as the first one. ❤️📚☀️ My cherry tree is starting to bloom. I love it when the streets turn pink in my neighborhood in spring. 🌸

Elizabeth2 I ended up coming back inside almost immediately after I posted this. My son‘s GF came over for a socially distanced picnic and they are using the yard. She‘s home from college for the holiday and they couldn‘t see each other because we have one in the house w/Covid. 😔 Even though this one tested negative, his GF has finals coming up. He doesn‘t want to risk getting her sick. Very sweet & romantic. ❤️ 3y
Elizabeth2 She brought a milkshake from Sonic for the younger sibling sickie, and Italian Ices for the rest of us. 🥰❤️❤️❤️ 3y

Not at all what I had planned for the month, but this sequel starts right where the first book leaves off. Yup, I played right into the author‘s hands, and I‘m okay with it. 😆❤️📚

MatchlessMarie Love this series. Did lots of baking when I read through it lol 3y
DarkMina I enjoyed the series overall. 3y
Elizabeth2 @MatchlessMarie I can totally see that! 😆 @DarkMina I‘m enjoying it! Some light reading is just what the doc ordered with Covid in the house! 🙂😷 3y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Great sequel to the first book. First book was hard to top but definitely the love & romance carried out so well in the second book. I love the character development in this second book. You can see the characters mature with age. Feels like you‘re growing up with them. Peter Kavinsky has my heart

4✨ I could not put this down! Lara Jean‘s inexperience with a boyfriend made me chuckle out loud. I was not a fan of the teens having sex talk. Cannot wait to see what everyone gets into in the next one!

I just finished the second book in the 'To all the boys I've loved before' series. Just as cute as the first one. This series is super light and easy to read. Young love 💕

This book was #8 on my #BookSpin list. One more book and I'll have my first #BookSpinBingo line! 📖😁 @TheAromaofBooks

I hate that I used to be the type of person that was thought I was too sophisticated for YA Romance novels bc biiiiitch this book was good A F. Is this book easy to read? Yes. Is it undeniably cheesy with supbar dialogue? Yes. But is is ~~gewddd? Absolutely. Fucking quote me on this. I stan Jenny Han I stan Stormy, I stan Peter kavinsky and I stan dr covey!!! He‘s cute af! And can we talk about fierce kitty??? Love that bitch.

Lara Jean is sweetness itself as she navigates her new relationship with Peter in between baking & working at a nursing home. I loved seeing more of her Korean heritage, & relationships with her sisters & her Dad in this one. We also get to see a bit more of her past, including her frenemy Gen & her former crush John Ambrose. She might be immature when it comes to high school antics, but that innocence is refreshing and lovely in this light read.

OnlyYoo I think she would have had a better relationship with John Ambrose but I love Peter too much haha 4y
AvidReader25 @OnlyYoo I think you‘re probably right. In some ways he felt too perfect to me though and I think sometimes were drawn to our opposites. 4y

This one is getting dangerously close to a bail. After my lackluster response to the first book I wasn‘t going to read the second, but I came up my shelving cart last week and I sorta felt like I needed to take it home and give Laura Jean another chance. Still not thrilled.

Watching movie #2. JOHN AMBROSE MCLAREN IS MARK FROM RENT LIVE?!

Ahem. Sorry, I know I‘m late to the game here.

Also, I‘m an ace fortysomething, but you know what I have in common with Lara Jean? A love of John Hughes films and the tendency to overthink everything. The scene with Lucas and the ice cream sandwich? Yep.

Sharpeipup I thought the same thing! 5y

I‘m late to the Lara Jean train, but I‘m loving spending time with her.

It‘s a sobering thought, though... realizing I‘m old enough to be her mom...

Loved this one. I‘m still really glad I watched the movies before I read the books. I feel like I can appreciate both of them instead of just being upset that the movie didn‘t stay true to the book. It‘s very interesting what things they change. I would love to know why!

I just finished Ps I Still Love You today. It was my choice for book Nr 1 of my #2020bookchallenge
I wanted to read it before the movie comes out next month (I'm so excited!!!!). I was worried because with a lot of book series the second book isn't always as good. If I'm being honest I liked this even more than the first one. I only have one complaint... How could she not choose the heavenly creature that is John Ambrose McClaren!?!?!?!?!?

This wasn't quite as enjoyable as the first for me. What made this most difficult for me was that in this volume, Han shows John being charming and romantic far more often than she shows those positive characteristics in Peter. Weirdly, I still wanted him to win. I liked the growth that he and Lara Jean experienced together in the first book, and I wanted more of that. I liked the story in spite of those things, and I'll definitely read the third.
