Yeah. I want to read more nonfiction because I like it. I like nonfiction memoirs and educational nonfiction that is teaching me about a certain subject even if I don‘t retain the information from the book.

Feeling very undecided about my next read, so I‘m taking all of these to the couch and not getting up until I pick one.
The Litsy Holiday cards are rolling in. 💌💚🎄❤️🎅🏼 #holidaycardswap #cardswap
My first Christmas book (audible) this year. Very cute story. Started out a little slow but it soon had me hooked.

Made chocolate pies and lasagna for my husband‘s 50th birthday.
Today, listened to audible podcast of Sherlock Holmes mysteries.

Golden Hills by Jennifer Weiner
I haven‘t read any books from this author before. I listened to this on audible. It was a good listen. It may be slow at first but you get into it. The characters are relatable. The story line could be true for anyone.
Nicked: Nordin by Nora Phoenix
The day Nordin aged out of the system, he met Tavin, another former foster care kid. They were immediately drawn to each other. After an amazing night together, they went their separate ways. They would meet up a few times over the years but it grew more difficult as Nordin made a living as a conman and Tavin found a home in law enforcement.

Hired: Hadley by Nora Phoenix

Hadley thrives bringing organization to chaos and is not easily cowed so he is perfect for the job… until sparks begin flying.
MM and spicy.
If anyone is interested, there‘s still time to sign up for #Scarathlon. I signed up because it sounded like fun so this will be my first time participating. I‘m still trying to figure out what I‘m going to read and watch for this.

This is probably the most useful style/grammar guide I have found! Plus, it‘s not dry or boring, the author does a great job of making it lighthearted and funny where possible.
Reading this one. This is from my TBR. I need to read from that but i want to go to the library. Think ill go after this book.
Whew! 😅😅 I have had trouble getting logged in for the past day. I accidentally logged out which i never do on Litsy and I couldn‘t get back in. Talk about PANIC 😱.
#litsylove
I will jump in to this too if you don‘t care.
I love listening to audiobooks! I love listening to a story come to life by listening to people telling it. When I am driving to work or anywhere I listen to an audiobook. It helps with road rage, which i have.
I most like it when there are multiple people participating.

This is nothing but a shameless me, me, me post but today I received in the mail a copy of the book I co-wrote! It's a very niche, kind of academic-y book about a children's publisher in my little part of the world, but I'm really proud of it!
And I'm so happy to finally have a hard copy!
Shockingly, it's not in the Litsy database. 😉
This was an amazing short glimpse of the host of photography at concentration camps. It focuses on the concentration camps in California and three photographers. Two on the out side looking in and one on the inside.
For #theunreadshelfproject, I‘m sharing my 2 death piles. My 2 death piles are my 2 bookshelves. My bookshelves are where all my books go to die. When I buy new books, I say that I‘m going to read them and then I don‘t read them. I want to focus on reading my physical TBR this year because I have a lot of books. I‘m sure I can find audiobooks for a lot of these books on Libby or Scribd but if I can‘t then I‘ll just read them physically.
I've been MIA for a few months, because of tiredness, breaking a foot and then having a babygirl on the 14th of december (not related😂). Her name is Maeve. Looking forward to picking things up again. I'd like to start with #bookspin, let's see how I get on. Here's my bingocard and as usual I'm just reading bookspin and doublespin. I've made a whole new list. I was tired of the old one. New year, new list.
@TheAromaofBooks, take me back?
Bookstr shared this on their Instagram account and I wanted to share it here because it‘s true. I feel like I buy books faster than I can read them so for 2023, I‘m putting myself on a book buying ban so I can focus on reading what I own. I noticed that I can go without buying books for awhile and then I start buying again. I‘ve also noticed that I don‘t buy books when I‘m using Libby so I‘m going to use Libby instead of book buying.
Today, I‘m sharing the books I borrowed on #libbyapp in 2022. I only borrowed audiobooks. I haven‘t borrowed ebooks on there yet. I used it a lot in September. I only read library books in September and nothing else. When I was using Libby, I wasn‘t buying books but ever since I took a break from using Libby, I started buying books again. I love buying books but I don‘t have room for new books.
