Brutally honest and heartfelt. And my vote is for her brilliant courage!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟this was definitely one of the best memoirs I‘ve read. Succinct, heartfelt, honest and open. Demi Moore grew up scrappy and ended up with serious grit. Being a fan since General Hospital, I feel I‘ve grown up with her.
This was a memoir that showed the good and the bad in Demi‘s life. Her honesty and ability to dig deep are commendable and I greatly enjoyed her book. I love GI Jane, one of my favorite movies, so getting to hear more about the process, the reason she wanted to tell the story, and the reception (totally off base) was my favorite part.
Honest & heartfelt memoir by the celebrity. Honestly I picked this audiobook cos Of the voice. Loved it. The parts about body positivity, struggle of the past , facing the ghosts of past worth knowing. I felt the success story is told in a haste. A new kind of book for me as I am not very much familiar with Hollywood celebrities. 4🌟 #nonfiction2022 #bookspinbingo #audiobook #dream #memoir
Another one down the hatch! Such a great book! Sometimes what you see on the movie screen doesn‘t depict the grit and suffering a person has really been through! Maybe time for a Demi Moore movie marathon!!
This was a fantastic celebrity memoir. Deeply personal and searching, I loved it all.
I'm really enjoying this in audio! All I want to do is keep walking and listening!
Thank you, Demi Moore. Spending this time with you reading to me and sharing your story was a blessing...and it helped me with my story.
“What if everything that hadn‘t happened to me but had happened for me. What I learned is that how we hold our experiences is everything. Taking responsibility for your reactions is freedom.”

Wow. She didn‘t hold back. I loved it though. I hate it when you can tell memoirs have been sugar coated and this definitely was not.
This was a startling look into Demi‘s odd, tumultuous childhood and how it affected her well into adulthood. It was a good and fast read. I did feel like near the end that she ventured over into a bit of ‘poor little rich girl, woe is me‘ territory though.
This is my second book for #NewYearWhoDis @monalyisha @Butterfinger
Wow! Demi Moore does NOT hold back. She‘s brutally honest, introspective & unapologetic. This memoir held my interest from the very first word and kept me glued until the very last word. Listening to hear tell HER story was incredibly compelling. Tears were shed #FeastMode 2/4
Definitely a favorite memoir of 2020
My #ReadingMoJo is back 🙌🏻Onto a new book #FeastMode @Hestapleton
So I really had to think about this #tarottakeover .... I‘ve decided on Demi Moore‘s memoir. She really has overcome so much and reached success through out her life.
I think that sometimes I am drawn to memoirs - especially memoirs of actors - because they remind me (in a way that the media chooses not to) that famous people are...people.
Life is messy, whether or not you have a private jet (or you can rent out an entire Target store to shop with your kids). Getting to know ourselves, getting to know how to take care of ourselves, is a damn marathon and I appreciate that Demi Moore shares her experiences.
4/5. I listened to this one on audible and having Demi tell her own story was really great. I don‘t consider myself a big fan of hers, I honestly didn‘t even know much about her going into it but I really enjoyed it. Loved the tea on Ashton, so juicy! It felt like she didn‘t hold back and she had a great story to tell.
This is a wonderful book! I highly recommend listening to the book because Demi narrates it. I was taken by her honesty and humility. Worth every minute!

I‘m in the middle of the top books. The Witches is an ongoing readalong with Florence. The other two are print and then audio/ebook. I‘ll admit, I don‘t really have any feelings one way or another about Demi, but her memoir is absolutely fascinating.
Next up is the #NYRBbookclub pick, plus my audio hold came thru on Untamed.
I have listened to more audiobooks in 2020 than ever before! 🤯🤗🎧📚 #BlameItOnLitsy @CoverToCoverGirl you inspire me! 🥰

I loved this book! My 2nd biggest problem with audiobooks is Narration choice. I am extremely particular, fussy & easily put off a book based on less than 5 minutes of listening to it. Listening to Demi was a pleasure 🥰
I wonder what the full story is of her kids not talking to her for 3 years! And I didn‘t see Bruce in the acknowledgments hmmmmmm way too invested in celebrity lives kbye
Demi Moore‘s memoir is reading real fast. With most celebrity books, I find myself not knowing a lot of people (like with Sally Fields ...), but Emilio Esteves? Ashton Kutcher? Bruce Willis? Yah I know all those guys. Plus, I found out one of her first modeling jobs was the I Spit On Your Grave movie poster!
Listened and loved this. Liked Demi Moore but now I love her and am going to rewatch every movie. She reads her memoir and I have now come to think that to make it in Hollywood or in music your parents have to be crazy. I think Demi let‘s it all out in this book and I‘m sure that it has helped her in finding the real Demi. Loved this on Audible.
“My story is mine alone; I was the only one who was there for all of it, and I decided to claim the power to tell it on my own terms.”

Finally decided to quit reading for work & to read for pleasure. This book did the trick. Thanks, Demi!
This is a very thoughtful memoir about both her personal and professional lives. She is analytical about the rise and height of her career and what it was like to be on the edge of a revolution in the way women were seen in the industry. See nude pregnancy photos! The end of the book was about her taking back possession of herself and her story. I‘m glad she‘s in a good place now. 4⭐️
Demi Moore really delivers on all the Hollywood gossip, but she also comes clean about her unstable upbringing and difficult family relationships. Bruce comes off as a good guy but maybe not a great husband, and Ashton as loving at first but then cold later on. Nice shoutouts for most of the brat pack, though the anecdote about sleeping with Jon Cryer is the real winner.
This was great! It was narrated by her which I always love for a celeb memoir. I learned alot about her in this one which of course is always the goal. She definitely has went thru alot.
Coffee to fuel my audio scrapbooking! Lets see how many pages I can get done today!
Book 23 of 2020
My first audiobook on scribd! Ive been wanting to read this one!
Every time I had to stop listening, I couldn't wait to get back into this thoroughly enjoyable audiobook. I was a bit afraid that this was going to be some scandalous Hollywood tell-all, but that part of the book didn't shock me as much as the part about her childhood.
Moore seems to be in a good place and I am happy for her. Listening to her distinct voice in the audiobook was a pleasure.

This is my first #WeeklyForecast and I hope I'm doing it right. eBook and physical books on the left Audiobooks on the right. I kinds piled it on with indecisiveness during 24b4Monday so I hope I can get at least the audiobooks done before the month turns. We'll see.
#Week5
Just listened to the beginning (a sample) of this.... Wow!!!
This memoir feels honest and raw. Demi has overcome a lot to get to where she is, but not without emotional and psychological scars along the way. There are always two sides to every story, and here we only get one, but I did finish the book believing this is her truth. As a fan of Bruce Willis, I enjoyed the peek into their relationship, as well. I hope she is able to sustain and continue on a path of health, both mental and physical. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I need historical mystery, gothic, Victorian, and chronic illness for my first bingo. Any suggestions? #jennyis30 @jenniferw88 hope you have a great week!!
I learned so much about her life. She was very honest about her struggles with her addictive behaviors. This was my first Audible and Demi performed stoically till the last chapter and you could hear the emotion. It broke my heart as a mother.

#jennyis30 @jenniferw88 feminism Vanity Fair cover- pregnancy is beautiful.
How does it feel to be whored by your mother for $500? That was an indecent proposal.
😭
Picking this up next. I heard two talk show hosts discussing it, and it piqued my interest.
Whoa!! Called out Ashton and Bruce in the first paragraph. A very depressing start.
