• No matter how you feel about Attachment Parenting, I still believe this is a good, valuable read. It provides the basics of the parenting style and gives you options (and, ahem, permission from the boundaries of society) to parent with as much freedom or structure as you desire. I don't understand the criticism of this book; I have found that Bialik writes in a friendly tone. It works for me...but I understand not everyone will follow. •

Curiouser_and_curiouser Love her! I debated buying this when I was pregnant with my 3rd, seven years ago, I have 3 children, 6, 10 and 17, would this still be relevant to me? The one book I did love at that time was #unconditionalparenting by #Alfiecohn, that was a life changer and a peace maker, ultimately with myself. 5y
bibliobliss @Curiouser_and_curiouser I think this book is relevant to parents of older children, even though it's focus is on babies and toddlers. It's not a long, drawn-out book and can be read and absorbed quickly. Anyone interested in the basic concepts of Attachment Parenting and especially newbies to AP will certainly get something helpful out of the book. 5y
