DESSERT-FREE JANUARY
Those of you who enjoy my constant dessert posts will be disappointed by this, but I'm planning a dessert detox as my first NY resolution.
I will allow fruit, smoothies, slimfast shakes etc. but NO desserts, cake, chocolate, sweets, Full-Sugar Coke, syrup sponge etc etc.
Other resolutions will follow 😇

pickI think we‘ve all seen comics from this author on social media, as he has a few that are book/reading related. Due to my previous exposure, I was excited to read this from Hoopla recently. The author is so clever in how he approaches common social interactions from an outside perspective (of aliens in this case). The illustrations are simple, but colorful and visually appealing. I look forward to getting my hands on his other newer collection.

This one was a quirky and funny look at a distant world that's very similar to our own and how aliens deal with every day situations and scenarios that us humans do in our daily life.
Perfect little book to read in bed at night with a cuppa tea.
If you‘re a fan of the comics, then you should love this book!
