After reading Book Lovers I was so excited to read this book. However it was so FRUSTRATING. Two characters (ex-fiancés) who still love each other but tip toe around what happened to their relationship. This narrative DRUG on until finally there was a resolution. I will not lie..after reading page after page I had to skim chapters. I think it was a good book…just too frustrating for me to read. ⭐️

Read this book in 8 hours!!! Hooked me right off the bat!

Alrighty…since the third book has been announced I am going to get to work on the second in the Crescent City series. I‘m so excited to dive back in to the mystical world that Sarah J Maas creates!

Well..I‘m finally ready to admit that I just can‘t get through this one. I like the idea of it…but I am struggling with the story and find myself wanted to finish simply because I want to finish.

Picked this up at a library sale a few weeks back…let‘s see how it goes!
