⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️• Maybe the best name for a book ever
Trying out new ‘Goosebumps‘ series. It takes classic stories from the original book series and weaves them together based on a mystery that happened in 1993 with lots of PG13 humor. #Scarathlon #TeamWhoYaGonnaCall
5✨ A couple of friends take a camera, and one of them discovers the photos from it are strange. The picture does not reflect the image it is to take, but has some crazy futuristic abilities. This was another good one. #Scarathlon #BatBrigade @Catsandbooks
Book 174🎧 3.5⭐️
Another one down for Stine-tober! Gave this one a listen because it‘s apparently one of RL Stines favourite GB books he wrote 😊
Can cameras tell the future? 📸 What happens when all the photos turn out… weird… 🫣
This one wasn't quite as enjoyable. Didn't have the same thrills and suspense for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This story was just as good as I remember it when I was a kid. The camera story was inspired by a Twilight Zone episode which R.L. Stine confirmed in an interview. But this book really twists the scares and creates very good tension. Another fun story to listen to.
“Pitt‘s Landing is the pits,” Greg‘s friends agree at the start of this book, and then go on to while away a fall afternoon in a way that makes adults miss those days when there was “nothing” to do.
There‘s something v. 50s abt this suburbia, w/kids playing ball in the park & that one weirdo living in the abandoned house hiding a dark secret…📸💀
Well-defined characters & plot w/a pretty exciting climax, & the narration is great. Def a pick!
Apparently I forgot to take a screenshot of the audiobook before I returned this one to the library. This one was okay. Greg finds an old camera in a empty house. He starts taking pictures but they develop differently and then what is in the picture actually happens!

Book 124
A classic with a good setup but subpar scare factor (in my opinion).

I think I‘ve had enough Goosebumps for one October. Listened to the audiobook while working on a project. Was listening to The Graveyard Book at first but I decided I wanted to pay better attention to that one.
+3 for #teamstoker #scarathlon @TheReadingMermaid
Re-discovered a stash of Goosebumps books my sister grabbed for me at a garage sale and decided to read them for the months festivities!
Say Cheese and Die! by R.L. Stine is a tale about a group of kids that go into an abandoned house and find a camera. But it‘s not just any old camera… this is an evil camera. This is a book with a pretty simple premise, but to this day, it‘s still one that has stuck with me ever since the first time I read it!

3 of 3:
A glorious, glorious library book sale haul! Spent less than $20 and got 35 books ? I'm jazzed! What should I read first?
I was SO excited to find GOOSEBUMPS!!! And BOXCAR CHILDREN! and some missing Alex Rider and Doll People books from my collection, and Encyclopedia Brown, and part of the excellent Nicholson "Wind on Fire" trilogy

Definitely one of the cooler Goosebumps I think! I almost always hate his explanations of why the weird creepy things exist but it was fun despite that.
Since I read book 5 and 6 recently I'm going to move on to book 7, Night of the Living Dummy.

#4 "One picture is worth a thousand screams."
An evil cursed camera? No that couldn't be real, right? Greg and his three friends are about to find out.

[#BookReview] Goosebumps: Say Cheese and Die by R.L. Stine! It‘s my first Goosebumps book of the autumn season and I think I started off badly b/c I didn‘t love this one. I need to do my research and look up the really good Goosebumps books. Did you read Goosebumps as a kid? How long has it been? Is there one in particular I should read? 📖📷💀

Day 4: A Book📖to make me smile-has to be nostalgic in nature & humorous or horror related🖤. I was able to save a fair number of my books including some of my childhood Goosebumps collection from the frequent typhoons & flooding that ravage our islands for my children, & that alone makes me smile everyday seeing them enjoy the books I once did as a child 😊❤️🌴. #SurvivingDecember #BookTherapy #PhotoChallenge #Day4
Brewfest in VT comes with free cheese. Naturally. #cheddarisbetter #saycheese #bookbuddiesIRL
Going through all the bookcases at the house and consolidating everything. The kiddo doesn't want any of the Goosebumps books 😔 but I loved those suckers.

The movie was a spoiler. So I did not finish
When it comes to Goosebumps on Audio Book it is all in the reader. I tried three different books before I found an audiobook that didn‘t put me to sleep. In this fabulous story a spooky camera tells the future and all of it is dismal. A nice and light tale to start October off right.
It's been a weird month for the Ol' #Augustbookhaul . The Goosebumps boxed set was a 🎂gift from the hub and our 7 year old. After reading The Girls, Helter Skelter was not a question. & Still waiting on The Melancholy Death of Oyster boy to show up in my mailbox📪🙌🏻 #augustphotochallenge #augustofpages
