My reread of Stormlight Archive continues and I finished this one today. Such intrigue, politics, twists and turns. Slow at times but still excellent. 5⭐️

I am officially halfway through my Stormlight Archive reread! 🥳🎉🎉🎉 If I can reread Oathbringer and Dawnshard in October, and Rhythm of War in November, I'll be ready for book #5 when it comes out in early December! 💕📚
I love Sanderson‘s work but I feel like I‘m really struggling with The Stormlight Archives… these books are a huge undertaking and have serious pacing problems for how long they are. I feel like I can zone out for ten minutes and not really miss anything important which is hard to swallow. Unsure if I will continue on with this series.
#FirstLineFridays Eshonai had always told her sister that she was certain something wonderful lay over the next hill.
1. Catch up on laundry and start catching up for past 4 years of non-input on LibraryThing and GoodReads.
2. Neurosurgeon - I was always fascinated with the brain. I'm not one - long story and not my best decision.
3. Not yet. Younger son taking classes this summer and we don't have his schedule yet. It will likely be a trip to a closer city like NY or Chicago or perhaps the beach.

I think it probably takes a special sense of humor, but, this one made me literally LOL! 🤣
My older son talked me into reading Sanderson‘s Cosmere series, which is only fair since he‘s read everything I‘ve given him his whole life! Enjoying them even though I‘m in the middle of the longest part. I hope to have the series finished before the next book is out in December. #weekendreads
Ok ready to read with my 2 new gadgets if can call them that. Little book timer and a page magnifier. Obviously stupid but trying it as I keep it on smallest font and black easy basic margins as I like to match page number with the real book. Blue shade light on fire helps dark mode lowest light all basic setting that I don‘t use will now try as these gadgets help when phone low or kindle low. Now won‘t need to winner.
Ok different approach to get through this book. The print so small in paper back so got it on kindle with blue shade in big font and follow with pencil. Got through 4 chapters already winner. Weird way to read but some books take lot concentration so pencil guidance seems to work.
It feels like it‘s been forever since I wrote a review. It took me a minute to get through Oathbringer, but I really enjoyed it. However, there were a few parts that felt like they lagged as the world was being built for the next sequence. But in true Sanderson fashion the ending was epic and I can‘t wait to dive into Rythmn of War.

What did you read this month?
March was an audiobook month for me while I made my way through Oathbringer. I really enjoyed most of the ones I listened to. And I‘m happy to report that I‘ve finished Oathbringer. Like five minutes ago, but I still got it in in March. 😂

Ahhhh I have been loving this series! Can‘t wait to see what happens I‘ve already cried lol
Chilling in the sun 248 pages in only started this Monday.
Been while since picked this up proper so going to give it a go #chapteratatime #tryingtosticktoonebook #currentread #themoreyoureadthemoreyouknow #goodreadschallange2022 #bookday#chilltime page 8️⃣4️⃣/1292
Todays chosen books for reading today so far 80 pages in on oathbringer and 27 pages in on kindle
I finished another #ChunksterChallenge epic fantasy! (1248 pages). This was a very good continuation of the Stormlight Archive story, though not quite as strong as book 2, which was amazing. Still very very good and I really do love these characters! 4.5⭐️
#bookspinbingo bingo!
“Being a human was about making sense of chaos, finding meaning among the random elements of the world.”
“I cannot say, Mishim said. To be mortal is to be flawed; it is not right to expect perfection of you.”
Yes, that is Rhythm of War, not Oathbringer... I read Oathbringer on my Kindle. It was pretty good, but also ever so sprawling. I found myself losing track of everything that was going on.
Despite it feeling rather chaotic and frantic, there were elements that I really enjoyed and I'll be moving straight on to Rhythm of War.
Stormlight Archive is a deeply inventive fantasy series, with a rich lore and lots of character.
⭐⭐⭐ for this instalment
Rae vs. Stormlight Archive continues.
With each of these books I've been tempted to give up at the halfway point, but Sanderson has managed to dazzle me in the second half... I'm hoping it will be the same with Oathbringer.
There's just so much lore and so many points of view! Sometimes it feels like starting over and over again. I struggle to remember all the different minor characters / spren / locations / backstory that get thrown my way.
Somewhat of a stretch at times still and engaging read with an exciting ending that will lead in nicely to the 4th
Just wanted to say I haven't disappeared again completely! My son came to visit for a week and I just got a little busy showing him the city and the lake and everything.
But on the bright side, I finally finished my reread of the first two books of the Stormlight Archive and started reading Oathbringer! I'm loving it so far, and looking forward to reading Rhythm of War next.
I'm not sure how to feel after this chapter.
Am I supposed to intensely dislike young Dalinar and his allies? Is Sanderson going for a Tigana-style "are we the bad guys?" approach? Or are we supposed to be on side?
I assume all will become clear as I read on...
Me: Once I've finished Words of Radiance, I'll get back to "tidying" my paperbacks...
Also me: WAIT ONE MOMENT.... 99p?!?!?!? Addtobasketaddtobasketaddtobasket ???
Great reading month. I normally don‘t count rereads in my favorites, but my readalong of The Green Mile with @BkClubCare has been a blast!
The third book in the series continues each of our favorite characters‘ storylines. There‘s a great twist on the voidbringer theme. Some people complain about the length, but I think of these books as something you just sink into and enjoy as they meander.
“The longer you live, the more you fail. Failure is the mark of a life well lived. In turn, the only way to live without failure is to be of no use to anyone.”
MARCH 2021 TBR
1. Oathbringer (Stormlight Archive #3)
2. Kitaro, the vampire slayer (Manga)
3. The Governess Game by Tessa Dare
I am thoroughly enjoying The Stormlight Archives. Part 2 of Oathbringer was epic and I think I preferred this over Part1.
There is a lot of action in this one, particularly towards the last third of the book and more is revealed about the nature of the world and the Voidbringers.
This is another book off my #bookspinbingo and #WinterGames2020 It was also one of my goals for #readyourwayreadathon

This series has been my life since June of this year.(Yes I know, I‘m late to the party.) What a crazy, exhilarating, emotional ride. Not only is writing phenomenal, the emotions Sanderson can pull from the reader is astounding. “The most important step a person can take is always the next one.” Is it November yet?
Can never have too many Brandon Sanderson books!!!
Thank you for this Outstanding #ManicMonday @JoScho 😁

Onto book 3 today for my Stormlight Archive re-read. 🙌
I'm doing the audiobooks this go-around and only listening to it as I walk to work and back so it's slow going (avg 40 minutes a day) but I'm loving being back in this world!
I can't friggen wait for Rhythm of War later this year. 🤘
Book 3 in The Stormlight Archive did not disappoint. I loved how Sanderson is growing the characters. I am just am not eloquent enough to do this book or the series justice in a review. The world building is astounding. Very few authors can touch this depth. Loved! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

2️⃣ I'm trying but just drawing a blank. My mind keeps going to the character of Count Alexander Rostov in A Gentleman in Moscow but I can't think of a character to match to him.
3️⃣ Multiple because I love knowing what is going inside the character's mind.
