Going through my library and this caught my attention...

If you need a pick-me-up, this book delivers. It‘s a compilation of quotes and songs from Fred Rogers that‘s easy to read here and there when you need a little inspiration.

I don‘t know if this book is any more or less trite, or more or less fresh, than any other book of its type but I enjoyed reading it a whole lot more — solely for the fact that I knew I was reading Mister Rogers. So gentle, so kind, so GOOD. His words are an automatic balm. 👇🏻

We didn‘t deserve Fred Rogers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️There are days when you want it be be a beautiful day in the neighbourhood. It was one of those days for me and this new collection of thoughts, quotes, and insights from Mr. Rogers put a smile on my face and in my heart. This is a quick read but provides all of the feel good moments that Mr. Rogers brought to the world. A great mood lifter.

If you all have time, you should definitely go see A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Tom Hanks is amazing. I ❤️❤️ Mister Rogers. The movie centers around his relationship w/ a journalist & the journalist‘s issues (he needs therapy, but Tom Hanks as Mister Rogers is the therapist I aspire to be). I wasn‘t sure what to expect w/ this movie, but someone had told me it wasn‘t a bio.
My bookstore did a display recently & I bought cute sticky notes.

Lots of things make me proud to be a Pittsburgher, but nothing moreso than the fact that Mister Rogers was a Pittsburgher, too. Mister Rogers #funko is coming! ❤️

This is a small book of quotes taken from various writings of Fred Rogers, the well-loved TV personality. I used to watch his show as a kid and I loved it. The quotes have to do with love, family, and dealing with negative emotions in a positive way, among other positive topics. I could see this as a lovely gift book for a friend. I read 20 pages a day until I finished it—a small enough amount that the quotes didn‘t blur together.

I consistently turn to Mister Rogers when I need to be reminded that I #needtoplaynice. He is one of my personal heroes. #survivingdecember

I needed some gentle reads today. And alcohol. But mostly gentle reads. Mister Rogers is one of my personal heroes.
