pickI loved this book. I read the whole series as fast as I could. one thing that was eh was the constant changing of america‘s opinion. just pick a guy. i was also really sad to see that america‘s dad died and maxon‘s mom, the relationship between her and america would have been great. overall I loved this book and will definitely be reading it again.
pickA close friend asked me to read these this weekend so we could talk about them, and since they were fast and easy I complied. I‘d put them between a so so and s pick, or 3/5 stars for entertainment. I was irritated by the love triangle, and I thought the story and plot shallow but it still read quickly with likable characters for all three books. More angst than I like in general but reading 3 books in three days is a good sign they entertain.
pan⭐️...So, this is my own fault. I binged all the Twilight movies, & realized I missed my YA Fantastical Romance‘s (I took a break a few years ago) I‘ve owned book 1 of The Selection for years, & ended up diving in. Fast forward to a few days later, & I‘ve finished the trilogy...& it was...really bad. This series would have been decent had it been ONE book. Written at the hype of the “trilogy” age, & stretched to death, it was unbearable by the end.

Just finished this lovely series about a girl in a competition to win the heart of the prince. It's like a royal "Bachelor" and I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I'd highly recommend to anyone who loves stories about royalty and handsome princes!
Currently reading The Selection Series. I do not know if im going to just read or play volleyball.
pickI have a sort of love / hate relationship with this series. But if I really think about it, I would say I loveeee this series more than hate because of the damn FEELS!

bailedHonestly, I'm not really a fan of harem hahaha 🤣 I got bored with the romance. And when I got to the part that the girl, Amerika, is in love with 2 boys and couldn't decide which one, so she kept the two companies -- I bailed the book (sorry 🙈🙈).

pickSuch a great summer vacation read. To be honest I liked the first book of the series the best! The last one seemed a little rushed.
#theselection #saga was great, but I think #kiaracass could had stop in the 3rd #book. With the daughter story wasn't to much, just that the last 2 books were bored! Would you have liked it to end in the 3rd or did you like the last 2?

Actually I loved the first three books more than the others cause the whole story was about America singer and Maxon ....Kiera didn't need too stretch the novel for their children you know ?!
But overall the series is so pretty especially the covers are AMAZING 😍

so-soI saw this series all over Instagram so of course it found its way into my Amazon cart. Overall, the story and characters were decent. Parts were better than others. I just felt like the whole series could have been more developed, richer and more opulent story-wise.

so-soI gave this book 3.5/5 stars. I felt like the romance wasn't that great and it was kind of confusing. I really like both Aspen and Maxon. I will definitely continue and finish the series. This book felt like the bachelor. 😂

Not that it's perfect, but I couldn't put this YA novel down until I'd finished it. My work out plans may have gone by the wayside, but I thoroughly enjoyed this take on reality entertainment.
