I loved this book. I love listening to actor commentaries on movies and reading all the trivia on IMDb, and this was a magical combination of both, where no one‘s commentary was cut off, there was no dead air, and the trivia had been copy edited. Can not recommend this enough to other fans of the movie. 5/5 #mayreads #popculture #adaptations

When Clueless was released in 1995, my nine year old self thought that Cher was the epitome of a #ModernGirl. I lost track of how many times I watched the movie, but I one point I probably could have recited the entire thing from memory. Looking forward to spending some time with this book at some point this year.

I was 13 when the movie debuted, then pretty much grew up with it. My friends and I were obsessed. The fashion. The language. My outgoing friends would even mimic the style. I couldn't pull it off so I stayed in my comfy box of Bush or No Doubt t-shirts and Adidas pants. God, I grew up during a great time period, but I digress. Fangirls/boys, pick this book up!

An 8-hour drive with two toddlers, one behaving, one being a gigantic pain in the tush, zero naps, and insane traffic, calls for an 8%-er and a good book. I'm pooped. #wildfridaynight #ilovemykindle #booksandbrews #cheers

You know how some celebrities are so cool and likable that you just want to hang out with them? Yeah, Gwyneth Paltrow is NOT one of them.

Trying to start this during nap time today, but the 2 year old is not cooperating, meanwhile the 4 year old is actually asleep. Go figure.

Story time: I initially wanted nothing to do with Clueless. When it came out I was 16 and kind of pretentious Austen purist. My friends basically dragged me to see it, and I begrudgingly liked it. I now consider it one of my faves (and a good Austen modernization). This oral history of the making of is a fun fast and fluffy read. It's nice to hear from most everyone involved how great a time it was to film. Now I need to go watch it again. 😄

Finally chose my next audiobook. I've been having a serious audiobook hangover so thank goodness!

The other day I had a friend tell me that her babysitter has never seen or heard of Clueless before...😱 Our exact reaction. I highly recommend reading 'As If!' For all those who loved the film as much I did. And for those who have never watched it before, go check it out on Netflix! #RecommendsDay
