Finally took the drive to LA and went to the Ripped Bodice bookstore with my niece. We had a great day of shopping and eating. Gonna spam your feed with lots of pics of our day. 🤗
Yesterday, I was finally able to visit The Ripped Bodice Bookstore! It‘s so cute. It‘s everything I imagined and more. I got two books from the Blind Date with a Book Section. I opened them today. One is “Incense and Sensibility by Somali Dev. Exciting because I‘ve never read this author before. The other is “Love Her or Lose Her” by Tess Bailey. Willing to give this author another try. lol I also got some book pins. Can‘t wait to visit again! 😊
Hey, New York romance readers! The Ripped Bodice just announced that they will be opening a second location in Brooklyn, NY. Very exciting!
I didn‘t make it out to celebrate National Independent Bookstore Day. However, my autographed copy of “Zora Books Her Happy After” arrived from The Ripped Bodice Bookstore this afternoon. So, I guess in a way, I did celebrate. 🥰
They have their own subscription book club! Shipping nationwide and internationally. I know what I'm going to order for Valentine's Day. 😊
The Ripped Bodice bookstore is selling these shirts in different styles and colors. 100% of the profits go towards payroll and holiday bonuses for their booksellers.
I ordered this one.😍

I treated myself to a Care Package from this amazing store. I‘m super excited to dig into all my lovely new #romantsy books.
My favorite of the LA bookstores I visited (and the only one I bought from). It's a romance-themed bookstore and it was awesome. They had plenty of cool items, the decorations were fantastic, there was a used book section upstairs -- I highly recommend if you like romances. I'll definitely be going back.
My book haul from The Ripped Bodice in LA. The "blind date" book is The Truth About Lord Stoneville by Sabrina Jeffries. The tote is awesome and the store was great. I'll do another post about it later.
I quickly put the corner page marker (w/ the yellow heart) on the nearest book to try it out! But my son came flying in from the other room to see the adorable stuffed animal head. Butterflies make me happy and the lotion will be great for sleepyhead time. And I've liked Edgar Allan Poe since our English teacher daringly introduced his writing in high school. Over the top of my rainbow thanks to @Ddzmini #BookmarkSwap @LibrarianRyan
This is the bathroom in The Ripped Bodice, kind of cool you can leave a note behind 📖😋
Made it the bookstore is awesome 📖😋 will post more pic when I get back to the car 📖😋
If anyone has recs for romances involving assassins, kilts, eloping, wine, or some queer paranormal that would be super awesome. 😘
