I got a text telling me some of my library books were due in 3 days so I decided to go return some and see if I could renew the others. Well, we got there and saw a sign on the doors saying that they would be closed from the 18th-31st. We got lucky and were able to get more books. The lady was super rude about renewing my books, so to spite her I checked out a few more. 😝🤷🏽♀️ #sorrynotsorry #YesiReads #LibraryBookHaul #BookHaul
Sweetkokoro Oh that sucks that you had to deal with the librarian being rude about renewing books. My library is currently closed until the 18th but they will be having a board meeting to determine if they will remain closed until the end of the month. What‘s nice is they decided to automatically renew all books that were due an extra 4 weeks (that doesn‘t count towards our renewal count) and no fines will accrue during this time. 5y
TheBookAddict @Sweetkokoro right! That‘s the first time I‘ve had a librarian be rude about renewing books. They usually say that they‘ll check to see if anyone else has them on hold and then just check them back out to me. The sign also said that if any books were due during the time they‘re closed that they will auto renew the books even if they‘re past their renewal limit. I‘m just glad I was able to get some books before they closed. 😁 5y
