So as a treat for the ending of my cancer treatments, I bought these books. I thought about what I could do, whether it be a nice dinner (still might do this later in August or early September) or a day at the beach or a day in Vancouver and I thought this would be the most feasible at the moment. #bookloot #newbooks

I wish I could make this picture fit the box but it's just too full of awesome to shrink. I had an amazing evening seeing Deborah Harkness for the second time. She encouraged me to finish writing my book the first time and she congratulated me on becoming a fellow author tonight.

I recently ended up in the hospital for a 10 day stay and then on home rest for 2 weeks and decided that was the perfect time for a re-read of one of my favorite trilogies. It was the perfect decision and comforted me while healing. I loved falling in love with Diana Bishop and Matthew Clairmont all over again.
What are your comfort reads or favorite series to re-read?

I could not put these books down. Read all 3 in like 2 weeks. I love vampire romance 😍.

While I experience this less now that I live in the autumnal no man's land of Southern California (seriously, it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit here today), growing up in the southern US, my favorite part of fall was when the humidity finally cleared out, and the air was clean and crisp. It even smelled good. A true fall season is one of the things I miss most about living there.

For me, fall is all about scent. The smell of the heat coming on for the first time, or the smell of a fireplace. Fall squash soups and stews. Coffee at night. And books, their scent goes perfect with fall

I‘ve had the first book of the first book on my tbr for such a long time now and it would be great to finally have the push to start the series! Especially because it‘s fall! And fall leads to winter and snow and scarves and coziness. If you can‘t tell, winter is my favorite season 😂 and fall means we are getting closer to it with cooling temperatures and oversized sweaters

Hmmm.....something I love about fall, where do I begin?!? I love the colors, the smells, my birthday, Halloween, all the decorations, leggings season begins, and there is just this wonderful comforting feeling the Fall brings!

Really loved the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Looking for recommendations for a new, similar book series to download to my kindle for the summer hols. #firstpost

This series is going to probably take me all summer to get through but well worth it! I like to read fantasy or paranormal romance all year long but others prefer contemporary in the summer-what do you like during the hot months?

I have only myself to blame. It looks like I'm not getting any relaxing reading done over my break. I knew I was taking on one proofreading job, a memoir about growing up in the shade of missle testing. Thought I'd have evening time for me. But then I got asked to proofread a book related to the All Souls' Trilogy as well. Getting paid for something I would read anyway? Hell yeah! But my vaca/break is now busier than I thought.

Made a run to barnes & noble today after work to get the first book of this trilogy (I had the other 2 already) and I found this amazing book for a #ChristmasBookesent for my boyfriend (he is a UI/UX web designer) 😀 It is so pretty! I hope he likes it! #BookHaul #BookStore

Then I came home and found out someone hit my car. WTF! People suck! 😣

I knitted my first cowl; I am extremely happy with my imperfect ,beautiful creation. It was inspired by the All Souls Trilogy. #adow #books #thebookbabeknits
