After 9 days of knee pain where I was unable to walk the entire time, I was finally able to get out for a short #audiowalk today. It was one mile. After only being able to walk a few steps, I‘m thrilled about that! Continued down the river with Huck and Jim. Mother‘s Day books:

In this novel the Mississippi River is a prominent as any character.

This book was a tough read. I understood most of it in the beginning, but I had trouble understanding it the further I got along in it. It was an adventurous story. But all the purposeful misspellings made it hard to follow the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This classic story written by Mark Twain is a story of that we have grown up hearing. A boy who is starving for adventure who doesn't always follow the rules. I think this would be a great book for a read aloud. I think this book touches our adventurous side and lets into a view of history.
