This is a page turner, and I couldn‘t stop reading! Kimberly Belle has written a very edgy and intense, thought-provoking novel that I highly recommend.

174 of 2021. After years of abuse, Beth finally decides to make a daring escape from her husband. Will she succeed? I really enjoyed this story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I liked this one, kept me interested until the end. My first book by this author but I plan to read more now.

This was a nice, quick audiobook that, while kind of easy to figure out, kept me listening when similar books tend to sometimes have me zoning out. The twists weren‘t especially twisty but the cat-and-mouse feel to it, especially the second half, was intriguing. 🌟🌟🌟

Since I believe that it‘s best to go into this blind; I won‘t give anything away --warning: some reviews on Goodreads DO give too much away. I had fun trying to guess exactly what was up with this one...and overall it ticks quite a few boxes of what makes a good mystery/thriller for me. Also, the narration is top-notch on this.

This was a solid read. I will say I predicted what was happening about half way through the book, but it was still a good read!

Beth is running away from an abusive spouse. One small slip is life or death.
Sabine is missing and after finding her abandoned car the police believe in foul play and her husband is the number one suspect.
Marcus is the detective assigned to Sabine's case and will stop at nothing to bring her home.
Told from three POVs this thriller intertwines the two lives for a great ending.
Warning: a component of domestic violence exists in this novel.

Loved this book. It was so full of twists and the end was one I was completely blown away with. I never expected the events that left me on the edge of my seat through the journey.

Thanks to #netgalley for the ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. Beth has finally left her abusive husband and fearful he will find her. Jeffrey comes home to find his wife Sabine missing, Police and her sister Ingrid are suspicious as to what has happened to Sabine and if Jeffrey has done something to her. A pageturner of a domestic thriller with some unexpected turns. Definitely worth reading if you like domestic thrillers.

I started to suspect the twist near the halfway point but it was still a pretty good one!

I just have to say - I'm always grateful for the option to check out digital loans from the library, but I'm ESPECIALLY grateful for it right now while not really able to leave the house. It gives a strange amount of comfort to virtually browse the stacks or get a notification that a hold has come in 👏🏽 📚 📖 #libby

I‘m loving Kimberly Belle!!

I‘m joining in on the #thrillersandstacks challenge on Bookstagram. This represents a very small portion of the thrillers in my TBR pile. Although I am not interested in every single thriller out there, it‘s definitely my favorite genre and I have quite a few waiting to be read! What thrillers are at the top of your TBR pile?

I thought this book was so good 😀 I was trying to figure out what was going on and how the characters were all connected . Although I did figure some of the things out there was still a twist that kept me wanting more.

This had a good twist. I had some guesses but hadn‘t completely put it together by the end. I actually marked some quotes in this book, which is something I don‘t usually find myself doing in a thriller.

Excellent! Love a suspense with a good twist!

I really enjoyed this one. It was a fast read, and I didn‘t see the twist coming.

Wow!!! I LOVED this one!! My mind was going in one direction and she took it in a completely different direction!! Loved the twist!! She is becoming a favorite author with her female driven characters!

I forgot to post my last audiobook. I'm normally not a fan of thrillers but I think I found a new nitch I enjoy. The "domestic drama" thriller. This one did not disappoint.
