My babygirl is officially 2 months old! I'm already sobbing she's getting so big so fast I hate/love it.

I wanted to let everyone know in my #lmpbc groups that I'll have to mail back both books without finishing them. My son Howl was born at the end of June and I won't have time to read them. @magyklyXdelish @mklong @cwarnier @Johanna414 @GondorGirl @peanutnine
My due date was the 26th March but baby still quite happy to stay in 😆 I‘ve declined two inductions as I really wanted them to come in their own time but definitely booked in for one on Monday now.
I would really appreciate any positive thoughts that all goes well and smooth, especially as my partner can‘t be with me for the whole process, or even better that labour starts before I have to go in 🙏♥️
Stay safe 😘😘
My little one due March 26th ♥️
This is gorgeous, and I absolutely love the concept of a "babymoon". As an idealistic parent pregnant with my first, this beautifully illustrated book would easily have been five stars. However, as a mom of five, with my baby days behind me, I wished for a little more realism. There was no inconsolably crying newborn who is hungry because mom's milk hasn't come in. Review continued in comments.
This is a lovely book about the beginnings of having a child. So sweet it made my eyes prickle. I also liked the not typical biracial couple that was depicted.
I‘m currently pregnant with my 2nd kiddo & this incredibly sweet book is such a treat. The author captures those quiet moments at home with a newborn as you establish your new family.
Each page has rhyming lines like,
“Familiar lullabies to croon.
This gentle time, our baby moon.”
The illustrations are lovely. From baby‘s tiny yawn to a curious puppy, they are filled with love. I‘ll be getting copies of this one for friends that are expecting!
