so-soA cute premise about an insurance adjuster meeting a woman after her accident, and she and her sick uncle helps him see the joy of Christmas, but I didn‘t feel connected to the characters. A lot was going on, but nothing in depth enough to care about the outcome. It‘s a super short listen at about 5 hours on audiobook, so it was easy listening while cleaning.
so-soThis is a short story that was available free with my Audible subscription. The story had promise, but it never truly delivered. The characters were mediocre and I felt the ending was a little rushed. Not totally bad but it definitely needed a little more meat to it. 3⭐️
so-soThis one was just okay. I felt like there was a lot going on in such a short novel so that it was difficult to meaningfully get into any of it. Carter and Abby meet by chance after Abby wrecks her car and Carter is assigned as the insurance adjuster to resolve her claim. Carter gets in trouble at work for embellishing his accident reports to make his boring job more fun. Abby's uncle who raised her is having health issues. ↘️

pickI can across this display at my library. I have to admit the over was too cute to pass up. It‘s the typical he doesn‘t like Christmas but she does with a twist. It even pokes fun at itself and the whole Christmas novel genre. #books #christmas #christmasromance
pickOverall, this is a short and sweet Christmas romance with a lot of heart. If you are looking to read just one Christmas book this year, read this one!

This was on display at my library.I grabbed it because it was set in a Bookstore/cafe. It‘s actually amusing in that one main character hates Christmas & it‘s sappy little books - decides to make a study of them & try & write one.That is just one story line; there is quite a bit of froth, Christmas cheer, romance, books, accidents, impending death, family reconciliation- all packed into 225 pgs. Quick easy read.

We all went to the library today. Nice & quiet- everyone‘s shopping is my guess!They have a lovely self serve Cafe where We read & enjoyed coffee.I discovered a beautiful statue of Mark Twain reading to two children.I have been passing it by for years as I go down the stairway behind it! I feel so lucky to have this lovely warm place only a ten minute drive away.💕💕☕️📚
