I‘ll definitely have to catch up with posts sometime later this week when I have a day or two off work, but for now here‘s my week two points for #Scarathlon and #TeamSlaughter 💚

Thought the start was really good but then it went on abit long and started to bore me. Guessed the ending aswell 🤨

Thanks for the tag @kelseynicburke 🤗
1. Running away. All alone. Just for a while. I need a break
2. I was a battery tester. My job was literally playing with remote control cars until the batteries ran out and recording how long they lasted.
3. I tried but it wasn't for me 🤷♀️
4. Anything by C.J. Tudor or J.D. Barker!
5. Late to the game but @tournevis @PurpleyPumpkin @BookishTrish

A decent debut! I got a little ‘eh, come on‘ at times, but overall a cool psych thrill.
Started this one earlier! I‘m back on a roll I hope!
This is my first ever #NetGalley read!! Out in just a few weeks, this is an interesting thriller with a main character battling her own mental illness while the body count in #Nashville rises! The pacing is a little uneven, so this is probably between a so-so and a pick for me, but the climatic ending pushed it to a Pick! It‘s a strong debut and I‘m curious to see what the author will do next!
Hey #NashilleLittens - I just found out from RJ Jacobs (via IG) that he has an event at the Vandy B&N on 3.23.19. Pub date for his Nashville-set psychological thriller is 3.13.19. I read it a few months ago and liked it. Not sure I can make it, but wanted to spread the word! Always nice to support local authors.
Rating-3/5 Stars
The premise is good, however it fell very flat. The action was not intense and I guessed what was going to happen mid way. It was still enjoyable though.

And Then You Were Gone kept me guessing until the end. While the beginning is a little slow hold on because the story picks up and is nonstop from there! R.J. Jacobs did an excellent job describing Emily's inner dialogue. As the story progressed I could feel her manic behavior while reading. It was like my own mind was racing along with her.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This thriller, set in and around Nashville, trails manic-depressive psychologist Emily Firestone as her life suddenly unravels. She‘s not sure who or what to trust, even her own intrusive thoughts. I don‘t want to say too much or give anything away, but I needed something fast-paced and this delivered. (See my comment for a small world story) 👇🏻
PUB DATE: 3.13.19
Thanks for the #ARC, #NetGalley!

I just finished this thriller written by a local Nashville author and this has me wondering about you all .... 😆🤔😙

I loved this book! The mystery and intrigue are spellbinding and it's hard not to relate to Emily. The depiction of a positive role model for bipolar and mania and the murder mystery make this a book I will not forget. Look for this in May 2019!
Thanks to Crooked Lane Books and #netgalley for this ARC.
