pickThis is the first book in this series that I actually loved!
It reminded me of The Infernal Devices which I love, might have something to do with some of those characters making an appearance here.
But even without them; this book was awesome! Just the right blend of adventure, action and romance.
I might even consider reading the rest of Clare's work now.

pickJoy of being late to the party is not having to wait to read the next book. Started reading The Mortal Instruments in late Sep/early Oct of 2015. (I know this because of my Public Library's Account History.) Entire Series was available by then. So when THAT Cliffhanger happened at the end of City of Lost Souls, I could immediately move on to City of Heavenly Fire. Loved the ending!

As far as the story goes, it's quite the adventure. Good ending to The Mortal Instruments Series but plenty of space left to explore more in #Shadowhunter world.

Finally finished The Mortal Instruments Series. This was by far the best out of the six books .... Now I can start The Infernal Devices which everyone assures me is much better.
Day 10 of my #20Series20Days- By watching Shadowhunters on Netflix, I got to know this amazing world of The Mortal Instruments. Even though the show failed as it progressed, the books were great. The plot kept changing and improving. Loved it.

pickAfter dreaded Page 511 of City of Lost Souls it was delightful to move on to City of Heavenly Fire. It has some of my favorite scenes in the #shadowhunter series. Pie, Alec & Jace discussing their fathers, Sizzy, and all the #malec.
Aug will be rereading Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. Then Sep 1st it's The Lost Book of the White! 🤓

pickHonestly I'm glad the Mortal Instruments series is over. It really should of ended as a trilogy. I am so sick of Clarey & Jace. I did enjoy Magnus & Alec, the introduction of Emma & Julian and the healing of Brother Zachariah. The epilogue made it a pick.

pickI finally finished my #reread of the Mortal Instruments and now I feel empty. This last book is probably my favourite of the series; I love the plot and the characters so much. The epilogue nearly had me in tears❤️ However, I wasn‘t the biggest fan of the audiobook. I prefer having only one narrator so this having two wasn‘t my favourite thing. But I still enjoyed the story immensely! #shadowhunterchronicles

During my #audiowalk today, I went to check out the graffiti where many of our town's protests/marches start from. It was so powerful & emotional.
Some #audiocrafting today! I‘m very excited to #reread CoHF especially since it‘s been just about six years since I last read it. I‘m still as excited about it as I was then and I‘m having a hard time taking breaks from listening to it. #shadowhunterchronicles
