so-soI've read other books by Christina Lauren and I wasn't expecting this one to be so racy. I haven't read 50 Shades of Grey but I would guess it's pretty similar. A sex-driven love/hate relationship between a boss and his intern....
so-soHonestly wasn‘t sure how I‘d end up liking this because of the first sex scene. It was a lot on the inappropriate side of employee relations but ultimately I ended up enjoying the relationship grow.
bailedThere‘s no story. Halfway through the book they hadn‘t had one single normal conversation, but suddenly they‘re in love with each other. And then when they did start actually talking a little, it‘s all “what‘s your favorite movie” and “what‘s your favorite color”. And I like steamy scenes as much as the next gal, but after the nth one, it‘s not steamy anymore, it‘s just boring. I had high expectations for this one 🤦🏻♀️.

so-soNot my most favorite romance novel. I‘m not sure if it was the narrator or the story but I didn‘t feel connected to the characters. Im not sure I‘ll read any others in the series. I‘m using this for my #covercrush pick for #booked2020 because who doesn‘t love a man in a suit?
so-soI am not rating this book; it is ridiculous, unrealistic, predictable and I devoured it in 2 days...so it was also readable, funny and addictive.

so-soWow. There is a lot of sex in this book. And that is the problem. I like my romances with a strong plot (even my erotic ones). This had a very weak plot and only really started to improve in the last chapter.
The attorneys are out of the office today so I am listening to this audiobook while typing up a few reports on this busy Monday.
Been thinking about reading this book for a while now and the library had it for sale tonight so I bought it ;)

This book was hands down amazing 5⭐️ it was the perfect romance and sexy story I needed to pull me out of my book slump. And it was a quick read. #recommended

bailedI just couldn't anymore! Made it to 43%. The guy is a total a$$ - not like an alpha kind of jerk that's still respectful, but a sexual harasser, blame the girl for turning him on loser. The girl isn't better, she hates the guy, but is always "oh my body loves this so much that I can ignore my own common sense and his lack of respect" (for someone getting an MBA - she's an idiot.) It just annoyed me, some of my friends loved it, but not for me.

pickThis book was recommended to me through a Facebook group for fans of The Hating Game. I'll preface my review with the fact that NO ROMANCE NOVEL that I've read since THG has compared. That being said this was pretty good. More sex scenes than I'm normally comfortable with but the writing was a million times better than another inexplicably popular sex-centric novel (ahem). My only big qualm was there was a lot of telling and not showing.
True #guiltypleasure - mostly I'm pretty critical and easily bored by the books that are all about the sex. But sometimes I really like them if they have an interesting story. The more #crazysauce the plot or the relationship the better. #romantsy #osrbc

Contemporary romance that skews toward erotic and even a little kinky, they also have humor and a lively energy #FunFridayPhoto

panI do not understand why I've seen so many people read this and love it. It's a collection of sexual encounters with no depth and the romance wasn't convincing. This just didn't do it for me. Back to historicals!
