Lola and Oliver are two geeks who drunkenly got married in Vegas the night they met (along with their friends) and immediately regretted it. Now that they actually know each other they're friends, but they want to be more.

I think this may be my next read. I haven‘t given into the urge to by anything new.
I am still very hit or miss with contemporary romance. I generally like Christina Lauren books (and I'm hoping to get around to my eARC of The Unhoneymooners this weekend), but this book was just ok.
I definitely liked it better than book two in the series, Dirty Rowdy Thing, but the conflict between Lola and Oliver didn't engage me. I think book one, Sweet Filthy Boy, is my favourite of this series.
It's finally Lola and Oliver's turn. Both are worried about ruining their friendship and are not sure how the other feels. But they definitely belong together, if only Lola doesn't mess it up while struggling with an overabundance of work that has become particularly stressful.

I normally love their books but this one was just boring. So I DNF'd
Done! After months and months of the spine of this sucker staring at me, I finally finished! I really liked the story of Lola and Oliver, and while I kept yelling "just have a damn conversation already!", their relationship felt pretty authentic. (Also, I saw that I do what Lola does, and it took my brain back for a few minutes to process that information. Yikes, and not in a good way.) A fun book, and easy to read. #litsypartyofone 1st book done!
The headache is finally gone! It took most of yesterday and overnight for it to leave, and I'm so grateful it's gone! So far today for this awesome #litsypartyofone weekend, I'm reading this book, the third in a series that I can't seem to stop reading. Along with my Year-long alpha challenge, I'm giving myself permission to go out of order and read whatever I already own. This one has been on my "read soon" pile since 2015! ?
According to the radar, the majority of the hurricane has passed up, but we're still getting lots of wind & rain. Hopefully it dies down soon so the power can be restored and we can have some a/c again. It's time to read in the dark now. I hope everyone is staying safe out there! 🤘🏼
Love this series, though in my opinion this book is probably the weakest in the series. Not that it's bad, I just prefer the others. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5
