Pleasantly surprised that I still love this book! I feel like sometimes things you read when you were younger can be disappointing when you go back to them so I was very happy this wasn‘t one of those. Can‘t wait to read the next one in the series!

Rereading this for the first, and haven‘t read it since high school, so it‘ll be interesting to reread and see how I feel about the storyline now!

This book was definitely a pick for me. It‘s a light read but still deep enough to hold interest, there are also twists that I wasn‘t expecting. I like how this weaves a lot of different fairy tales into the one book. I‘m looking forward to continuing this series next time I get to the library!

My new stack from the library. I‘m so excited to get back into the swing of things, the past few weeks have been crazy and that‘s why I‘ve been MIA and not able to read as much. This week is a much needed week of rest and routine.

The tagged book is what I‘m starting with. Have any of you read it yet? I haven‘t heard anything about it but it seems like a very interesting retelling so far.

I‘m sad I had to bail on this one, it was good I just didn‘t have time to finish it before it was due back at the library and I have other books I would rather read than this one

Picked this up from the library today after putting it on hold and I just couldn‘t wait to start it! Two of my favorite genres in one book so I‘m very excited!

Definitely ready for the weekend and my chance to read more, this week with my internship and job has been crazy. Thankfully I had a cute friend at my site visit today

Today my boyfriend and I went and walked around a really cool park with a, sadly closed, butterfly exhibit. I started the tagged book today as well and I can‘t wait to see where it goes with the storyline

I‘m so sad that this book was one I couldn‘t get into. I‘ve heard a lot of good things about it but I read 10 chapters and I just had to stop. There was nothing that was catching or keeping my attention and the storyline didn‘t feel like it was going to pick up anytime soon either.

This is between a Pick and a So-So for me. I loved this story and all of the book, until the ending. I‘m a person who likes everything to be wrapped up at the end of a novel or series and with this one I still have some questions. It‘s an incredible story and the endings you do get are good, I just wish there was a little more to it.

Finally had time to really sit and read this tonight, about half way through now and I‘m really enjoying it so far! Love my little reading buddy to death as well 😻

With starting my new internship this week I haven‘t had much time to read but it‘s a very exciting time and I‘m loving what I‘m doing! Hopefully with this long weekend I‘ll find some time to read.

I know that a lot of people are not huge fans of this book because they don‘t feel it adds a lot to the series. However, I love it. I feel as though it explains backstory to some characters and helps to lead in to what, I‘m assuming, the spin-off series will be about. After reading the finale to the original series this is a cute book with a lighter feel to help relax into the continuing story.

Today my boyfriend and I went and got a library card for his local library since I‘ve moved up with him for the summer and I got these two books, the one below is tagged, and I can‘t wait to start them! I‘ve heard lots of good things about The Bride Test on here!

I love this book and this series so much and I can‘t wait for the spinoff series to be released. This book took me a little longer to reread than the others but I‘ve also been much busier this past week.
The wrap up of this book leaves some aspects of the story wide open which is interesting to think about where it will go next.

This book is one that I had picked up on vacation in Seattle at Elliot Bay Book Company because it was in the value area and it sounded interesting. I could not get into it at all. I got maybe 100 pages in and just could not continue.

I think it was a little to dry for my tastes as well as the fact that the author spoke a lot about certain things I had no idea about, such as unions for writing for example.

After a crazy day of grocery shopping and unpacking it‘s nice to sit and read for awhile. My cat Apollo is in the background yelling at some squirrels.

I haven‘t had much time for reading this week with moving out of my apartment for the summer before starting my internship but I‘m glad to be able to sit for a minute and enjoy this before another, final, move of the summer! 😊

I‘m so sad that this was a bail for me. I LOVED the first book, and others written by this author, but I just could not get into this one and found myself wanting to do anything other than read it, including studying lol. At that point I knew it was a no from me.

This book was interesting and well written but it seemed to drag for me. It had parts that were very interesting and fast paced and then it would go through periods of slowness and not a lot of variety.

An interesting read to learn more about the early feminism movement in New York and a look inside the Vanderbilt name as well. It‘s a good book, just slow at times!

Another book about history that will draw you in, as well as teach you some things you might not have known. It talks about the struggles of female slaves in the Greek war camps and how they were treated and takes you back to how they would have felt during that time.

The main character has a very interesting point of view and is a very good story teller as well.

If you are interested in history and this time period then this book will draw you in!

This book follows from the time she was still a child all the way to her marriage and is pretty accurate. There is of course some fiction to the book but it follows the history that I know very accurately.

Another book I have read and reread, this is my favorite book in this series and probably by Sarah J. Mass. The character development is incredible in this book as well.
