I got exactly what I needed from this book at this time. [Full review to come . . . hopefully.]

Read this one before my surgery. Love these authors and this was a nice, light read at just the right time.

So freaking good! Perfect for a night where you can't sleep and need a nice escape. If they made this into a movie with really great actors and actually put time and effort into the screenplay, this would make such a great rom com.
I've enjoyed so many GOOD books this summer. This is making it in the top 10! Christina Lauren is a great author, I love her characters personalities. I'm going to have to check out her other books I haven't read yet!
This was a nice reprieve from the nonfiction and tense fiction books I've been reading lately. I wish the ending wasn't so hurried. Also, did they go on the cruise? Anyway, I'm happy I read it. #25 of #Roll100 @PuddleJumper
These are my July #Roll100 books. Let's hope with the reading challenges and readathons, I can finish at least one of these before the month is up. I literally just finished a #10 from May. 😆
@PuddleJumper
I have enjoyed every book by these authors and this one didn't disappoint. It was the perfect way to start off my April #bookspin #bookspinbingo
Josh and Hazel are great characters - hilarious and sweet and were super fun to hang out with for the day. 🤓❤️
@TheAromaofBooks
I've yet to come across a Christina Lauren book I disliked. Hazel was such a fun, quirky character. I loved her confidence in being herself even though most people are put off by her whirlwind. It was so fun watching her and Josh's friendship bloom throughout all their terrible double blind dates. The two of them complimented each other perfectly.
This was my November #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Just when I wanted to give up on romance. This book was so fun and swooney and sexy, I loved every minute of it.
💖 nice story! I‘d LOVE to read about these two in college and more of all the crazy antics. Friend double dates, super familiar stares, speaking with just their minds - beautiful true friends that developed so organically into more. Love love love Christina Lauren
#AUDIOJUNE book #3! I expected a book by Christina Lauren to be fun after reading In A Holidaze and this didn‘t disappoint. Hazel was a trip and I loved her. Josh was so cool, too. The story was so much fun and a feel-good tale that will stick with me for at least a week. LOL #100YEARS100BOOKS #77 #BookSpinBingo #7 #BFC21 #TALESandTAILSforADULTS #4 #AUDIOJUNE #3
Hazel is quirky but can she find someone who will not be embarrassed by her eccentricities? Sweet and sexy.
Delightful, quirky and steamy! A great listen 🎧 to escape into!
Loved this audiobook so much! Such a fun story. I didn't like the way the reader who read Josh's chapters voiced Hazel but I loved the story so much I got over it.
The romance story of Josh & Hazel, who meet again after college, become best friends, & eventually realize that they‘re in love. They set each other up on double blind dates but really just want to spend time with each other. This is a really funny book, & I love the characters. A fun, light read, one that I‘ll probably revisit when I need a laugh. This is my #bookspin for May. @TheAromaofBooks
I wanted to like this book but the writing and characters teetered on the cliche. I wasn‘t a fan of the ending either. All in all, an easy quarantine read.
Another Christina Lauren book added to my “Read” pile! I really enjoyed reading this one. The characters were likable, the plot was cute, and the whole story flowed together nicely. I find many CL books easy to read - I finished this one in two sittings. Will definitely be reading more CL books in the future!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5
Christina Lauren books are a sure, feel-good hit for me, and following Josh and Hazel on their path of not dating was a great way to spend a day.
YAY!!! @MoonWitch94 your #LittleChristmasSwap package finally decided to appear in my mailbox!!! Thank you SO MUCH and a definite yes to subbing an extra book in lieu of chocolate 😂 I'm so excited about both of these!!!
Thank you again for hosting @bookish_wookish !!
I absolutely LOVED this book! Josh and Hazel's dynamic was so much fun and their unique personalities burst to life (it's an opposites attract romance to the max). I laughed out loud one page and blushed the next. Definitely recommend! ❤️
Starting this one today. :) What are tour thoughts?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was able to love and understand Josh & Hazel, because we got to see what they loved & understood about each other. It‘s not necessary to give both MC‘s perspective in a romance, but it‘s becoming a favorite aspect of the genre. This is a fun, quick read without the annoying kept secrets or misunderstandings usually common in romances. Definitely brings my opinion of the author up, so I will look for more from them in the future.
A fun, easy read about a quirky girl and a mellow guy who become best friends and keep setting each other up on blind double-dates (each one more terrible than the last). My #Booked2020 pick for “eccentric main character” 💜💛
You can usually count on Christina Lauren‘s books to be fun, easy reads and this one is no different! I loved the banter between Josh and Hazel and just Hazel‘s overall quirkiness. Read this one with a smile on my face.
Best friends, Josh and Hazel, don‘t date...at least not each other. They prefer to set one another up on progressively terrible double dates.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book! I haven‘t read in awhile and I saw someone recommended this book on twitter so I decided to try it and I read it in a day! It‘s definitely a feel good romance with a cheesy ending but makes you happy reading it. Hooked on the authors and will definitely keep reading their books.
Listening on audio 😊 My first Christina Lauren!
A great Christina Lauren romantic comedy. I always love an opposites attract romance, especially with a quirky lead.
[#BookReview] Josh & Hazel‘s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren! This book is such a cute romance story that I found to be charming & fun to read but I really disliked the ending. Despite that, I do recommend this book to anyone interested in reading more romance, because the majority of this one was a good time. I would just be aware of the ending.

Christina Lauren is officially my new palate cleanser. This book made me smile and giggle the entire way through. It‘s exactly what I needed after a few disappointing reads.
Not bad, but I liked "The Unhoneymooners" more.
This audio had a terrible male voice...
I hate starting off the new year and the first book I finish is a dud. I don‘t really want to write-off an entire genre because of one book, but maybe I need a break from romance for a while. There was absolutely nothing original in this plot. Hazel had every personality quirk possible while Josh had no personality at all. And that ending? Totally ridiculous and rushed. So... this isn‘t cool, right? I requested this from the library on Libby, and it now says it‘s a “skip-the-line copy” and that I can skip the 13 week hold line to get it now for 7 days. Somehow, I just can‘t do it. 😬
Just finished reading this one. Good story line.
But somehow romance did not work out with me 😐
#thebooklifeofkk
lunchtime reading - I've already read this one but was feeling like a cozy read & rereading always does that for me 📖
This was a just the lighthearted romcom I needed to fall into today. It was a very quick read and I was pleasantly surprised it was set in Portland. This is an attraction of opposites and a best friend turned lover plot, but it‘s not cliche. Hazel is the kind of person I wish I were! She is bright and fun and unapologetically herself. She‘d make an amazing best friend!. Dance when you want and cartwheel when the need strikes!
Lots of fun and lots of laughs!!!
🎈
This was fun. Not overly fond of how the male reader read Hazel, but it was fun! I love a fun contemporary romance and a nice break from all the murder I usual read about. 😏
This is my first Christina Lauren book and it was good! The ending was not my favorite, but I will give this duo another chance. 4⭐️
I‘ve been sick with a cold for most of the week, so I‘ve been trying to take it easy this weekend. Starting this now hoping it cheers me up a bit!
