so-soI really wanted to like this book, the story is cute, the world is fun, but it just kept missing. The MC was very whiny and not very patient with her prince, and her best friend totally got the short end of the stick. 2/5 stars. Delilah and Oliver are together in the real world, but things aren‘t as easy or as safe when you can‘t close a book and restart. Big questions are asked, but very few of them are answered.
pickThis was a very fun book. A charming sequel to a really cute book. A sweet teen love story. One that‘s innocent and safe for my twelve year old to read, which is awesome as far as I am concerned. pickThis was delightful😊 I loved all the characters and how the author balanced fantasy with real life. The illustrations were enchanting and I would definitely want to read both books again someday ❤️

Oliver is charming and hilarious! Delilah makes me a tad angry, but I still love her. My heart breaks just a bit for Jules and Edgar, but true love always finds a way, right?
pickI finally finished this follow up to Between the Lines after having to return it to the library several times (oh the plight of the neverending TBR pile). A decent story but I didn‘t enjoy how some of the side characters‘ stories went. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have been excited to read this book for a while now, then finally I came across it at a book store and just had to have it! So happy right now 💙❤

I will be giving this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5.....the book is amazing with unexpected events,but there is just something missing,something that doesn't make you desperate to read it....also the thing is that you know the ending but the fun part is that you MUST read till the end to find out HOW it happened, but I loved it and would totally recommend it to ppl who love fairytales and happy endings ❤️❤️.

Other reviews show some adults found this book cliched and the characters self absorbed. Not so the 12yo! I've never heard her laugh so much while reading. So I guess it's for the young at heart.
Seems it's about a teen bookworm who ends up with a fairytale prince come to life in the real world. Not unlike Enchanted! 12yo warns "there is kissing but it's ok" so 12 or 13 and up she thinks.
Question: do you have to read the other book by Jodi Picoult first? Or can you read this as a standalone? :o 📚
bailedI always want to like Jodi Picoult books, but I can't stand her characters. They have awful morals and the teens in this particular book are so self absorbed that I couldn't even finish the book.
bailedIn fairness to this book, I had no idea what it was going in, and had I known it was YA fantasy/romance I would adjusted my expectations accordingly. I just saw Jodi Picoult and asked no questions. This is not the usual, dependable Jodi Picoult book I know and love. After 100 pages I honestly didn't care.
pickI loved this one just as much as part 1. I'm so ready for my daughter to read this. Sometimes a quick easy read is refreshing.

so-soI wanted to love this one, it's cute and well written. I just couldn't really get into it. I think the alternating perspectives accompanied by altering text colors really threw me out of the story. Lovers of Ella Enchanted or just Enchanted might enjoy this one!

pickThis book was purely magical. I love the message of hope and how it makes you see the process of reading and writing from a totally different perspective. And YAY for fictional boyfriends coming to life. This is a MUST read! 💗
